That line is supposed to be Hunters and Gatherers.
The seller does acknowledge that it's likely a knock off in the item description.

Interesting. I wonder how Hunters and Gatherers ended up being translated, " The Chasers." I also wonder how these copies haven't been banned since I assume they're illegal.

I guess one needs to chase the animals a bit before hunting them?

Since neither the River nor the Konsort/Cult/Shrine is mentioned, I'm guessing this is not a knock-off of
  • Tower + Catapult + Count, King & Cult Robber
but rather
  • Tower + Catapult + Count of Carcassonne + King & Scout
(That would at least make sense as five separate line items.) If that's correct, then maybe "chaser" is the back-translation of whatever Mandarin word had been chosen as a translation for scout?
My stuff: The Caverns of Carcassonne | Wheel of Fortune versions | True North (wind roses) | Icon facelifts | Converting CII to CI | Signposts & the Château | The Vault | Riverboats & the Whirlpool | trade list

I would say definitely not legit, for a simple reason: logo of Dutch publisher 999 games is visible on the box cover...
