Nope. Haven't missed it. I am glad it is getting release. I wonder what the other expansions are re-releasing in 2017.

I wonder, Abbot gardens aside (assuming that they'll be some), if there'll be much change with the tiles.

The Tower for the CC II - New Edition is not yet in the shops. I've finished the correction reading a few weeks before.

Well the shape of the box suggests that it will still include a free-standing tower, and that will undoubtedly be in the new art style since the old tower was done by Doris Mattäus. For the Gardens, I assume there will be 2 tiles with a Garden, since two expansions of that size have both included 2 Garden tiles. So far:

Base Game + The River: 84 tiles / 8 Gardens
Inns & Cathedrals: 18 tiles / 2 Gardens
Traders & Builders: 24 tiles / 2 Gardens
Princess & Dragon: 36 tiles / ?
The Tower: 18 tiles / ?
Abbey & Mayor: 18 tiles / ?

I calculate that all expansions will include 1 Garden for every 9-12 tiles in the expansion, meaning that Princess & Dragon will have 3 Gardens, The Tower 2 Gardens, and Abbey & Mayor 2.

Oops! Forgot to verify those tile numbers. I looked all over for a copy of the rules or a photo but I couldn't find anything that shows or says how many Gardens are in the expansion. I'm going with SRBO on this one and agree that you're hiding things from us again. tsk tsk

The description in the link above seems to describe (in German) that there will be a tower stand in the new version as well.

The 3rd CC II expansion - Princess & Dragon:
I have the German box in my collection. That means, I've looked into the box and I have found only two tiles with garden in it.

The German box of this expansion is in the shops here in Germany.

I can't tell more about the secrets, but the tower expansion for the new edition has a tile tower and 30 tower pieces and 18 tower tiles in it. The rules will get some interesting surprises for some of the members - especially for playing the expansion together with other expansions...
I didn't see all the tiles - only a few which are shown in the rule book for the tower. Perhaps there are also 2 gardens in this expansion.

A BigBox for the CC II - New Edition - I think it will come - next year. That was told by a license partner from HiG - MindOK at their facebook page.

I wonder what the new changes are, Kettlefish.  Since  I was last on the forums my copy of the new edition has become a perennial fave for both my FLGS's game nights and my family, both in and out of town
