Steam Court takes the card game we used to play at university variously known as asshole or president or something similar, and wraps a theme around it with cool art and extra additions to gameplay (special powers, special cards). It can play up to 12!

Zen Squire is an 'absurd' card game based on medieval marginalia. The hand-drawn art is amazing and the game is pretty simple but fun. Junglegirl beat me in our first game which always helps get a game to the table more often!

First time receiving two Kickstarters on the same door knock.

It's my first Tiny Epic let's see if sticks to the table.
Dale of Merchants is currently one of my favorites. It's one of those games that seem quite simple to play until the tactics and strategy kicks in.
The second installment will surely add to the replayability.

As if Essen wasn't enough - today I received Klask a game that Dan and I enjoyed very much on our 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of Essen!

Best bit is my wife enjoyed it too. She couldn't resist the lure once I'd taken the bubble wrap off

Thankfully I was unable to pull that move off. Instead it back fired. A point to her. We didn't even play on a flat surface, but didn't seem to bother her either. It was win/win regardless in this household.

(We had to play on the floor...my desk has too many other games on it....

1 from dan's giveaway, Joe provided me the winter crop circles! and because he gave them i already had ordered the winter edition. Thank you very much Joe!
Also recieved an expansion for revolver 2.

Big gift package from Fan over at CarcF: German Cathedrals, Halflings I (Spielbox), some King tiles, a set of wood-colored meeples, and two surprises: Japanese Temples and a KJW-signed Festival tile (which kind of makes me want to acquire this expansion so I can play with his tile in the mix). Super grateful for this early birthday present, as my birthday is next week.
