Why are the publisher don't ask us for a good translation?
In the case of Rio Grande, we didn't have much of a relationship with them. In the case of Z-Man, I offered our services when they got the publishing contract, but I think they already have translators. Has anybody checked the expansion rules to see how good they are?

If there's more mistakes, I recommend doing our own translation.

My family was heavily into Mexican Train a few years ago. Haven't played in a while, but I found it very enjoyable.

You could do your own print and play with tile scans from BGG, but it's not legal to distribute them so we can't help you with it. Better to wait until the real thing arrives, and we can help with finding all the expansions.

As part of their recent web site relaunch, Z-Man Games now sells Carcassonne and expansions directly from their warehouse. In the near future, the various goodies currently only available from Cundco will also be available from Z-Man: http://zmangames.com/nouvelles-details.php?id=311

Here is what I received: The two coasters are from the second set of coasters in the Cundco shop. I can't tell you what is in the other packages, but I think it's more exciting. Kettlefish asked me to handle distribution for Canada, and one of the lucky recipients chosen was Gantry without whom this site would not have existed. Gantry and I work in the same city, so my plan is to deliver his package in person. I have spoken with him on the telephone a few times, but we have not met in person, which Kettlefish thinks is very strange. We don't have official fan meetings here, so there aren't opportunities to meet other Carcassonne fans in person.

The latest downtime was caused by a problem updating an add-on during the June monthly maintenance. This was human error on my part. To prevent it from happening in the future, Gantry will be setting up a set of test forums where I can try things to make sure they work before doing them on the live site. I appreciate everyone's patience over the last two weeks.

My understanding of "anytime" is that you can perform that action only once, but at any point during your turn.

The phrase "double turn" worked better when the builder rules were originally written. As more expansions have been created, typically from the standpoint of not mixing them all together, the definition of "double turn" is increasingly strained.
If a lot of people are against "extended turn", I'll be fine with that. We need to determine what is the trade-off between accuracy and clarity?

I'm a sucker for train-related games, so naturally when I got the e-mail from Travis I had to pledge at the $60 level.
