There were a number of "interface" cards created (Universal Connecting Bars on the German Carcassonne Forum), which had a section of water along one side and some game tile sections on the other. You could then place any game on one side, and a different one on the other, but they are always separated by the strip of water. It included strips for Amazonas, Ark of the Covenant, Carcassonne I, Gold Rush, H&G v1, Mayflower, Over Hill and Dale, South Seas. Of course, you could also use these as start blocks, similar to the way the one in Mayflower/New World is used.
I've checked the original thread on CarcForum and the image files are no longer available from the links on that thread. This expansion was never finalised, so there's no available download on the site, or a formal set of rules. As far as I can understand from the discussion, rather than long strips, say of five tiles with a universal river style (it uses C1 river sections) along one side, these had been reduced to, mostly, 2x1 sections, but there were about ten designs for each spin-off included. Safari, H&G v2 and C2/C3 are not available as they post-date the work done on the connector cards. There was also some discussion on the original thread about whether there would be a way to adapt The City. Discovery is not included.

... in [second] 1/2 of game when nobody want to place meeple to forest, because on end of the scoring player will get 0 points for uncompleted mount (forest). So everybody just place tiles MMxx or MMMx separately to get advantage to other players to finish it when placing tile and meeple to unoccupied forest (mount).
Forest areas will score 1 point, like cities, at the end of the game.

Welcome to the site, SailingMeeple. Not a silly question, at all!
Merits are used if you would like to give someone a bit of special thanks for a helpful answer, intriguing idea, new expansion, or something like that. Everyone has their own basis for awarding them.
You'll see a "Give Merit" link/button under the name in the left hand of a post, clicking on it adds 1 to their merit total. It's just for fun, as I'm unaware of any benefits, but perhaps gives an indication of people who have been around for a while and doing all sorts of "positive" things on the site.

We create the "master" pages in English (they have no language suffix in the URL), and then they are used as the basis for the translations. I think the translation module creates/modifies the "/en" pages automatically (I've not been involved in the translation side of things as my native language is English, so have ignored anything to do with it ...) but would have thought the title and comments should also be updated - maybe that's a manual tweak that's required? One of the others who do translations to their own languages can probably advise, although it's probably not something that needs to be discussed here!

No problem. It's something I always forgot to do when editing pages. I took a look back at the EN page and it seems the FuzzyBot updated it shortly after I marked the page for translation. It seems that it performs automatic tasks as a result of translate actions.

I've marked the source page for translation, as it hadn't been since the last edit to add the section about rounded corners. I'm not sure if the EN version is updated automatically by one of the Bot processes or has to be done manually.

Yes, I noticed that. I contacted the designer/author a while back with some questions about the rules but have not heard back from him, although I did get a reply when I initially made contact.

My understanding is that the oldest available version of rules and tiles for the Families/Family Feud series is the one on BGG :- Families v3Did you have a look at that one? There must have been earlier versions - as far as I know they are no longer available anywhere, but the v3 rules mentions the addition of 12 extra tiles in v2. So I don't know what the original tiles were in v1 of Families! After that, several Family Feud versions were released, the first by Novelty and Frédérick Renaud (I think it can be found on CarcF), and then it was expanded by JPutt927 to include the 2 extra families (the one you found, and mentioned above).

Have a look on BGG. That’s where the v3 version can be found. I was sure I included a link on the previous thread. You can find links on the Expansion Selector on WICA - display all the expansions then use the browser search for “Family” or “Families”.

Welcome to the Forum, daveztpc2000.
I don't think that the tiles for this expansion were ever publicly available to download. I believe the tile sheets were privately printed in small numbers and then distributed.
