Official Rules / Re: German Cathedrals and cult place« on: February 04, 2017, 04:08:12 AM »
I would agree as well, although they behave somewhat like a cloister. The main difference being that connected roads score more. This is an odd one that I've never really considered

General / Re: Who's tile-counting/memorising?« on: February 04, 2017, 03:40:11 AM »
Me and Mrs Meerkat just wing it! We keep track of certain special tiles but, since we almost always play a Mega Carc game, we just give up counting and go for the win!

Will we get another one of these going? This sounded like a great time, just a shame I couldn't be a part of it!

It would be nice if, as you stated in a previous post, someone could come up with some round figures about the value of the tiles/expansions

Official Rules / Will Labyrinth Feature in CAR?« on: February 04, 2017, 03:19:10 AM »
Will there be a section in CAR for the Labyrinth tile? I ask because plenty of people play with either one or both versions of the tiles (I only use Carc 1 tile) and it could do with an official clarification of rules. I understand this has been covered to some degree in another post but without an official ruling.

Official Rules / Re: (Translated) Labyrinths of Carcassonne - Official Advanced Players Variant Rules« on: February 04, 2017, 03:11:44 AM »Hi. So what constitutes as a 'different feature'? Some could say that the Labyrinth and the roads are in fact different features. In the other hand, the fact that they both score points from roads only could suggest otherwise 56

With the release of Carcassonne 2 and some expansions, I thought I would resurrect this interesting post. How does Carc 2 affect the price of our Carc 1 collections?

General / Watchtowers Expansion and Old Carcassonne Together?« on: February 04, 2017, 03:00:06 AM »
Hello people!
This is just a general question about the playability of the Watchtowers expansion with the original Carcassonne game. Do they work and look well together? The completionist in me wants to buy Watchtowers but, since this will be the only Carc 2 expansion I will own, I am dubious about how well it looks and plays in general. Hope all is well! 58
General / Re: Should a Mega Game have barns?« on: January 29, 2017, 12:34:52 PM »
Mega Carc with two people is perfect (even if you end up being beaten by your wife!). Why not Barns?

General / Re: Old Art Stick-ons for New Tiles« on: January 29, 2017, 12:33:09 PM »
It's been my experience that stickers never work on tiles, no matter how high quality they are! The best way to get the tiles is to directly print onto the tiles itself (which some people with Carcassonne Central have achieved).
You may have to join The Dark Side and buy into Carc 2! 60

Firstly, I love your randomiser tiles! Secondly, your forum title is amazing! Thirdly, this is an amazing report, better than lots I have read. Your son's report was really nice too!
