Good luck on your quest! I would love to track one down to, but I think I will just have to live with the stickers.

Me: Just be happy with the HIG edition.

My inner completionism alter ego: Go for it!

I'm not sure I have anything you would be interested in trade, are there anything specific you are looking for? I do have an extra set of Japanese buildings and Halb so Wild I new/sealed. I have a used 10th anniversary edition with the transparent meeples. The box is in really rough shape. Not collectors worthy, but the tiles and meeples are in good shape.

Would you be interested in selling? I am in the US in regards to shipping.

Thanks!

I knew there was talk of bringing back the aurochs (large prehistoric bovines) to parts of Europe. But, this right here is even better!

I would recommend BB5 as well. Even if you end up not liking WoF, you can still use it as the base game. If you decide to later purchase WoF as a stand alone, it will likely cost you almost as much (if not more) as BB5.

Good luck dealing with the greens! It is something most of us have all had to accept. I will tell you that the "Carcassonne: 10 Year Special Edition" has "The Festival Mini-Expansion" that is much lighter than the stand alone "Festival Mini-Expansion".

My Big Meeples came in today. I agree with cletus81, they are the perfect addition to the AofC!

Our household has grown away from farmers, so not having them isn't an issue here! I find the game play is still very much enjoyable. We usually only play with them when we are in a competitive mood.

These are great. He seems very down to Earth and relatable.

My 2018 English version of The Tower does not have it either.

I did notice that the Polish version of The Castle has a game of "Tic-tac-toe" engraved next to the gate entrance.

*Item has been traded*

I ended up with an extra set of "Japanese Buildings" (spent an arm and a leg right before Cundco dropped the Easter sale ::) ;D). It is still sealed.

I would like to offer it for trade. I am open to most any thing related to the world of Carcassone (C1, C2, expansions, game pieces, oddities, gear, stand alones, etc). However, here is a list of items I am still looking to add to my collection and would jump to trade for:

- Bonusplättchen Spiel 2018
- Halb so wild II
- Die Kornkreise I
- Wind Roses I  (Hans im Glück Version with all 4 cardinal directions)

Ah, I see what you are saying. It is still odd that both rulebooks state "72 tiles, including the Start tile" when in reality BB5 shows 73. I'm guessing something happened during translation, or do the German versions appear the same?

Completionism is a wonderfully frustrating addicition!

They wanted to include the crfr (D) tile in case you play with the River and/or WoF, so that you can still play with it even though it is not a starter

I thought the starter was included with the initial 4, so wouldn't a 5th be an extra?

While we are on the subject, the base game/WOF in Big Box 5 has 73 tiles instead of 72 (even though it says "72 tiles, including the Start tile")? BB5 has 5 "D" tiles instead of "4". Is there any explanation to this?

Pictures attached for reference.
Pic 1: BB3 (left) vs BB5 (right) "Base Game" directions (BB5 base game is part of WOF).
Pic 2: BB3 Top BB5 Bottom

I purchased BB5 solely for the WOF and River. I find the extra markings on the base game does not detract from game play (and, for the record, I am medically diagnosed with OCD and they do not bother me ;D).

Good luck on Die Kornkreise. There seems to be a mob of people trying to find it these days!
