If you are referring to the tile in the image below, it is a custom tile I sent to the participants of the Advent Calendar Quiz 2019... It is a tie-in between two fan expansions I created for the Advent Calendar:
Oh :D the comet looked like the shiny point of a blue cone.
The wiki site needs an illustrated page with this kind of fan made tiles an notes

Maybe we should create a group to discuss to validate or unvalidate each of the +600 fan-exp. So that we will become a sort of Judges of Carcassonne... >:D

Not everyone... I'm not really into fan expansions :yellow-meeple:
I printed only the riverside school, as it has no new rules but brings a compatibility with the river and it's a C2 conversion :D
Anyway, this discussion about fan made expansions seems out of topic, maybe it should be moved to a new topic?

I split the topic so we can discuss this matter freely.
What would you want to see in this list? Currently we had a listing that could be filtered covering both official and fan-made expansions in C1 and C2. It is work in progress but you get an idea.

Summary of the expansion or all the rules?
A page for all expansions (or maybe by letter using the Categories page), by game/spinoff, or a page for each? We could test it with one of the spin-offs that have only a handful of fan expansions available - AotC, perhaps?
Would you want to include a full set of tiles for each expansion? That perhaps leads on to having a big tile database with the ability to search by edge types, expansion name or features, as we already have for the base game and official expansions. The dataset would get pretty big, though, and maybe we have to ask if Mediawiki is the right tool.
Personally, I've shied away from discussing this in the past as I reckon it's a huge undertaking.

In my mind I see it more like an update of the current list... Getting into summarizing the rules or the tile sheets is too much work.
I would prefer to display just a tile on each row at most as a visual cue. Adding a small description and some info about the mechanics implemented would be a plus. Above all if we can implement some filtering in the selector.

I'm not really into fan expansions :yellow-meeple:
I've inquired about any printers in my area that might be able to do a good job, but I haven't gotten a response. Maybe someday, I'll get a nice machine for myself and I would really like to make high quality tiles for the forest, cliffs, and extra rivers, for a start. I might need to buy several hundred blank tile sets from cundco to fill out my game options. It's great being able to make different variations based on our mood - :pink-meeple:

Try to find a place where they print mobile covers... They will be using a flatbed pinter... This is the type of printer you may use to print directly on blank tile sheets.

At present we have not included any of Decar's "Musings" ( :() in the data for the Fan Expansion section on WICA, but are considering whether to add a section on "Musings" in the future. This would include expansion and variant threads on the Forum which only exist as a single post (basic concept/idea) and perhaps one or two follow-ups. The Expansion Selector currently lists over 800 expansions and is currently going through testing and data consistency checks.
Please note that the links in previous posts on this thread to the Expansion Selector (under Murphy013's area) is no longer being updated. A revised URL will be available in due course.

Adding a "Musing" expansion type is a good idea. When fully implemented, they could migrate the the corresponding type.
Another idea: we could add a "Status" column indicating if the expansion in a musing, in development or completed. So the musings can be integrated with the other expansions according to the expansion type. This would also equire adding a new filter to the selector.
Any thoughts?

Adding a "Musing" as a dummy feature requires no extra modifications in the selector as you know. ;)
