I'd be very happy if they release all of them; I'll need to bring extra suitcases to bring it all back with me

My thought is more with the festival in Carcassonne in mind.
I expect that there they'll have the first 3 as a pre-release, and then maybe the full set in time for Essen 3

Nothing confirmed on that point.
Not sure if they'll do them all at the same time. From what I've seen, they'll have exp 1, 2 and 3, and we'll have to find out if there's more released at the same time 5

Here are pictures from the front and back of the 20th anniversary editions.
You'll see that the lighting makes a big difference on how the front looks. And all the fronts look the same, even though these are all from different publishers/languages 7

Fun fact, those images need updating.
My Finnish version doesn't have the Lautapelit logo on the front. And from what I've seen, the Russian box has 'Carcassonne' on the front, with the Cyrillic title on the side. (Although it has KJW's name in Cyrillic) 8

Yes of course! I'll try to remember to do so tomorrow.
The downside of this edition is that you cant tell the different language versions apart from eachother from the front of the boxes, which is too bad as I've got some real beauties hahaha 9

I've got about 15 different copies of the 20th anniversary edition, from different countries/languages/publishers, but I have not seen any major differences in the colour intensity between them.
I agree with Paloi that the colours shown on the reddit post are exaggerated. Looks like someone upped the intensity in post. The colours do stand out to me on the boxes, but maybe not as much as you had expected or hoped. Then the map is indeed a bit odd; these are usually sold as separate product, but it looks like they used it as packing material for your order 10

They don't really have a good track record for that....

What I've found interesting around MoC as well, is that Moritz said in a video that is was Expansion 11, and it is listed on Cundco under Expansions, but on the box and in the rules it doesn't refer to it as Expansion 11.

Yes, HiG are using the SdJ year (2001) for their counting.
Moritz told me this mainly started in 2010/2011, when they missed the 10th anniversary of the release of the game, and this was celebrated in 2011, so they stuck with it. 25th anniversary will be celebrated in 2026 from what he said 14

I think there's some things we expect, and some that are actually confirmed.
We expect the other 2 seasons to come out; Winter and Summer. Perhaps a third Wonders of Humanity. But over the last month's, there's been more and more about major expansions in C3, to the point that Mindok have said it's coming in 2025, and Moritz was at a Devir announcement where he said they're coming out in 2025. That is the main expectation |
