Okay, I’ll just stay away from it then.

Okay, maybe I’m reading this wrong, but doesn’t this say the opposite?

Please also note that you may encounter unofficial figures, tokens and other artefacts which may be advertised as being for use with Carcassonne. Whilst these may not be illegal as such, buy cautiously if you don’t know exactly what you're buying.

The black tower for example is an unofficial piece. Unless you considered it an official piece just a different color, although it has different rules.
The curved bridge though would definitely be an unofficial piece though, right?

Also how do people sell different colored 3d printed Carcassonne meeples with the expansion meeples then?

I completely understand the parts about not being able to sell tiles with rules and all of that. But for me when I read that the gray area are the pieces. I would like to sell some pieces that would work well with some of the fan expansions. They could be used for other things as they are just 3d printed pieces. Most people don’t have access to a 3d printer and therefore aren’t able to play a lot of these fun fan expansions.

Also what about the black tower expansion? Is that legal to sell pieces for it. What about curved bridges? I have some 3d printed curved bridges and I love them, but most people can’t play with those. Is it legal to sell them? I just don’t want to get in trouble, but want to get as many people excited about fan expansions for Carcassonne and Carcassonne in general.

Thanks!
