Carcassonne Jenga
« on: October 25, 2014, 03:06:55 AM »
This morning I tried to see if I could stack all 30 tower pieces on top of each other and place a meeple on top. It's not as easy as you might think and it took me four tries, but eventually I did it.

For those with more than one copy of the tower, how high can you stack it?

Sorry but that's not a valid move as you didn't build your tower on a tower foundation tile...  C:-)

Great work though! I dread to think how much damage you could do with a tower this tall!  >:D

EDIT: I see you also used a photo of this tower as your new profile picture, but what is that face in the background?

It's the Roman emperor Hadrian, who built a tower or two in his time.

I didn't properly set up the photo opportunity before I started building the tower. If I did, I would have put a gargoyle or something else a bit more medieval in the background.

A gargoyle? Lol. I'd say Hadrian was a better choice since he did build a tower or two.  ^-^

I like it so much that I'm changing my profile pic again ... even if the meeples are yellow!  :green-meeple:

I thought he was better known for his walls

Indeed, but there was a milecastle every Roman mile along Hadrian's Wall, and turrets evenly spaced between the milecastles.

But really I was just scrambling to explain why I included Hadrian in a Carcassonne photo.

I used to live near one end of the wall -- funnily enough the place is called Wallsend    :)
