It's time to share the details!
The Knave of CarcassonneThe Abridged RulesThe first potion of the game has a Push-Your-Luck element:
Take the 72-base game Carcassonne Tiles and split them into 12 sets of 6 tiles.
For each set lay out the 6 tiles face down.
The first tile is always the starting-tile.
Flip the first tile of the set and keep a running total of the number of City-edges and pennants.
You may hold or continue.

If you continue, flip the next tile and add the number of city-edges to your total.
If the total is ever more than 5, you are bust. Discard all 6 tiles.
If you decide to Hold, discard the face-down tiles and take the face-up tiles to build a play deck.
Continue with the next set of 6 tiles.
Once you've completed, you will take one meeple (black, the Knave) + an additional meeple of another colour (red) for every 12-tiles in your discard pile.

You then play regular Carcassonne, except when you wish to place a follower, you must select one at random. You can randomize the chosen meeple by shaking and dropping, using a die or dropping them through a dice tower, or using a bag.
If you score a Road,City,Cloister with the Knave it scores double the regular points. The Knave doesn't score double farming points.
High scores are in the order of 150.
