Nice report Merlin!

It seems that the World Championship will be as difficult as possible. 5 world champions, Tomasz Preuss (leader of the BoardGameArena rating) and many other very strong players. I think most games can be added to the Carcassonne textbooks

That's a shame indeed.

If it was a problem with money then I'm sure it could be solved by them selling a few of their new promo tiles to help fund it!

Unfortunately, our publisher organizes national championships only during the Igrokon (Game Con) Event.
This year, the Igrokon will be held in mid-November, after Spiel'17

In Russia this year there will be no national championship
Perhaps, under the pressure of the unfortunate funs of Carcassonne, the publisher will change his mind, but I doubt.

Thank you! It was really an exciting adventure!
Hopefully, I happen to meet in the next championship with MrNumbers again, and prove that my victory was not accidental! 

Wow.  Most people join this forum looking for expansions or rules clarifications.  Carcassonner roles up as the World Champion and the only thing he is interested in is food

I am at home at last! Now already at work, so don't have much time for a write-up. I will publish a big report later, but I am still mad at myself, that I was just one tile away from the semifinals, and made a stupid mistake in my last game! Still, 6th place also not so bad after all

Registration and writing messages here is similar to the quest
