Title: Can We Embed A Video In A Post?

Hey guys - relatively simple question and I might be being stupid but I can't see how to embed a video into a post I'm making? I can obviously link to the video (it's youtube) but not embed it in the actual post - any suggestions?

Hello, Chuckybl, and welcome to the forums!
It is not possible by default. A custom mod must be installed on SMF (which is not installed here).

Thanks for the reply and the help - that sounds very technical - so is it possible with the embed code or will that not work either? The video in question in a guide/tutorial I made for playing the Carcassonne game via the App - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EywS26xknL4

No, without installing custom mod for the forum (only admins can do that, if they consider it necessary), you cannot embed video in any way. For now, just link may work, as whaleyland suggested (and as you already have done).

Interestingly, when using Tapatalk it appears embedded.

It is only how Tapatalk interprets Youtube links. In original posts there are only links.
