Loki, you have made a great and rare find!
I expected that this would appeal mainly to people living within driving distance of the store , a $10 dollar 10 year old magazine does get rather expensive when shipping has to be paid for. There are probably other stores out there with some copies, perhaps members could check out what is available locally and post the info.
Sounds like a good plan. Just there need to be detailed info when posting to this thread.I like this thread but I don't want it to get spammed with half-baked info so other members have to check them out one by one only to get disappointed.
This magazine is available in Canada fromhttp://www.boardgames.ca/gamesquarterlymagazineissue11winter2006withcarcassonneboardgameriverexpansion.aspxGames Quarterly Magazine Issue 11 (Winter 2006) With Carcassonne Board Game Spring - Mini River Expansion Price (CAN): $9.95 they have about 10 copies in stock still in the original plastic wrap. They have a limit of 1 per customer but they said they are prepared to ship internationally. They are currently stocktaking (that is how they found these ones) so will not be shipping until early July
Considering the target audience, I’d say that items seen for sale in local stores are only worth posting about if you’re prepared to act as a “middle-man” on behalf of someone from the forums who may be interested in purchasing, and then sorting out payment and postage between you.
1. Correction: All the Z-man Games links are now broken (The Festival, The School, Blank Tiles)
Corrected. Z-man no longer offers some expansions. In fact, now they offer only first two expansions in new art.

In fact, now they offer only first two expansions in new art. This is pretty interesting when you think about it, and I wonder if Z-man is happy or not about the new direction of the game. On one hand, just a year or two after they acquired the English-language market publication rights and started printing all expansions in the old artwork, these expansions were made obsolete and their printing of them all just for a brief period seems to have been rather pointless. On the other hand, perhaps they were aware that the new edition was coming or were even the driving force behind it at the time that they acquired the rights, so they knew they would have something more to sell than just old expansions in old artwork that had originally been released years before.
