This is what the Amazon entry said but I guess it was a lie then? I have no idea how to distinguish Spanish from Catalan!

Looks to me like it is either the Spanish or the Portuguese version. Can't tell them apart from the front, but could from the back.
The Catalan edition has the banner/flag in the top right, so I would agree it probably isn't the Catalan edition

Today's delivery: base game C3 (Catalan Spanish version).

I wrote some of the text on the back in Deepl and it detected Spanish. It's settled then

It was all a misunderstanding from my side. Amazon entry had this title: "Devir- Carcassonne Juego de Mesa Edición Castellano". I read "Castellano" and for some reason known only to myself I thought about Catalonia. Instead, "Castellano" apparently means "Spanish". You learn something everyday  )

Not from the postman, but I finally found exp. 3, which for some reason has been impossible to find in my area. Also picked up a copy of South Seas from the clearance shelf at my lgs!

i had 2 postmen stop by yesterday! From 2 different countries (or at the least the parcels came from 2 different countries).

First up, from Italy:

I got some Italian stuff last week, which now got some new friends to play with.
A while back, someone on Reddit posted they got a C2 Exp 1 box with C3 tiles in it, so i had to check. My copy is C2 though, but i wanted the box anyway
And a copy of Amazonas from Giochi Uniti! The seller was good and checked if i was sure about getting the Italian copies send to the UK. I said yes, and couldn't be bothered to explain further

And the later on the day, another delivery. A very well packaged bit for this:

With more versions of the Gifts coming out, i decided it was time to expand my collection of them. I should have a French and a Spanish copy waiting for me in various places, and now have the German and Japanese versions here!

So you're collecting expansions and spin-offs in as many different languages as you can? That's awesome, great collector stuff right there! I am italian, if you need any translation

Here's my delivery from today, from eBay and Cundco:

• German version of Big Box 7 (now I own three Big Boxes: 2, 6 and 7, one for each version of the game
• C3 version of Castles in Germany and The Festival (15 Years) (and now my C3 collection is complete... for now)
• Single-tile start tableau for the City of Carcassonne (now I have it in single, two-tile and 12-tiles versions)
• A yellow Phantom box
• Scoring green flags to replace the ones I consumed
• 6 small and 6 big tuckboxes to better organize my collection of unboxed expansions
• A set of The Games Quarterly #11 expansion tiles
• (not pictured) 6 Ringmasters in special colors... because who needs money when you can have more useless pieces for the game instead?

I am a happy man now.

To be honest, I currently collect everything from every language. Base games, expansions, big boxes,. Spin offs, the works hahahaha

I'm intrigued by the comment on the green meeple flags though, what happened with the first set?
Plus, they came in a frame? Not in a little envelope? Did you get them from cundco? Also, they look like the frame is green, but the flags are blank in colour, or is that just me? (Sorry for all the questions hahaha)

I used them so much that the 50 and 100 ones got consumed (they lost color and they don't "clip" to the meeple anymore)

The frame was indeed inside a little Cundco envelope!

Also, they look like the frame is green, but the flags are blank in colour, or is that just me?

I had the same reaction too the very first time I got them... you have to peel the color off the flags before using them  )

Aah ok, at first I thought that by "consumed" you meant you have eaten them  (absurd I know, but I did come across people who would eat weird stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised at this point).

Aha, that explains about the flags. I have got several colours of them, but I think I only opened the neutral ones from the first batch, which may have been different. Need to order some new ones then
