Title: Carcassonne Blank Tiles

Do the blank Carcassonne tiles have the same linen cloth type finish as the standard printed ones?

I find the linen finish on the standard tiles to be very durable and it allows you to remove and replace custom label printed tiles with ease.

Thanks for confirming this, the Z-Man north american site has them for sale and I just wanted to be sure of the surface of the tiles.   :(y)

Good luck. :) I haven't done anything with mine yet - mainly because I'm just lazy and hadn't bothered printing anything out yet. :)

I still have a stack of duplicate game tiles to work through first, but my own  expansions are around 60 tiles each at present so I am getting through them.  I even bought a copy of Carcassonne II to use as I was doing my own start tile based expansion and needed the darker backs.

This is the first example I've seen of there being genuine compatibility between the two versions!  :)) :(y)
