Title: Score Sheet
Post by: mueller5917 on February 03, 2014, 01:25:24 PM
Im relatively new to the Game, I consider myself an advanced amateur, and have been looking for a simplified score sheet.  I thought this web site might have one but could not find any.  I guess it got stuck in my head and finally came out in the attached form.  For those who care please take a look and let me know your thoughts.  Hopefully its self-explanatory (e.g., A, B, C is for the scoring of each feature as it happens) but I am always open to suggestion.  Thank you in advance.   :blue-meeple:

Like I said, Im relatively new to all this.  After some gameplay this is the sheet that I was looking for to help score the game as we played with the different expansions.  It helped us, hopefully its useful to you too!  Enjoy!

Hi mueller5917,
please don't use special letters. The text is gone if you use such special letters...

Your pdf list looks interesting.  :)

Hello mueller5917! Welcome to the CarcC forum!

Your score sheet is interesting but a little busy maybe. Do you have an expample of one filled out after a game so we can see how you're using it?

Here is a custom score keeper app built by our Admin, Scott. He may have a more up to date version and I'm sure when he sees this post he'll let us know.

Here is the link if you'd like to check it out.

Yes, interesting document.
But I can't understand one thing - how the farm can be "incomplete"?

I don't know that I could keep track of the score using a score sheet like that. There's too many variables affecting the value of features. Easiest is to count the points on the score track as you play.

I haven't made any updates to Score Keeper. When the minis came out, I wasn't sure how to incorporate them. I don't feel much of a need for Score Keeper anymore because tracking large scores is very easy since the invention of using dice on the score track to track the number of laps.

We use the Score Board too - the 200 point board here on CarCen.  For us, basically beginners, finding the points quickly for the different variables was an issue.  This put it on one sheet for us to play a basic game.  As we get more advanced, like yourself, I am sure we will progress in this area too.   :)
