I recently saw a post where it looks like the artists had signed tiles. Is there a market for this type of art somewhere? -

Please don't go buying signed tiles.

Klaus-Jürgen Wrede has always been kind enough to sign anything and everything you ask him to, to support Carcassonne fans across the globe. I'll happily send one over to you.

The artists are somewhat harder to come by, you'll have to be patient, but the chances to crop up now and again.

I advise anyone that you don't pay more than the tile is worth. I've always found it somewhat disrespectful to profit from signatures, especially when KJW signed the tile because he thought you'd like it.
