Don't know why I felt you were going to make a remark on that...  ;)

Got this in my mailbox today. That's tiny compared to KBellon's arrival, but I'm still happy  :yellow-meeple:
My kids aren't old enough yet (one is 18 months old, and the second should arrive in one week or two), so I'm keeping this game wrapped for 2 or 3 years  ;)

@KBellon, I see you got a La Porxada tile. How do you know it is a real one, since it's always been a stickered tile? I bought one a few years ago and always wondered it it was an original one or not. And I'm not even playing it, since I could print a better quality tile myself  ???

Ah, but I guess your collection was already a lot bigger than mine  ;)
Well, the La Porxada tile is the only one I did not buy. As it's only a sticker indeed. I bought a spare CCCC tile from cundco and a friend of mine made the Porxada tile out of it!

That's probably the best and most effective way to own a La Porxada tile  :yellow-meeple:

Here's my collection: http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4658.0

Damn, so awesome you have the Russian promos and Spiel 14 and 15 tiles  :o
They are the only tiles I would add to my collection until now.
But not actively looking for them because of the prices (250 euros for Russian promos is just insane haha)

Could you post a picture? It should be relatively easy to see if it is not original (which is likely).

Can you tell which ones (if any) are true?

Same problem with the CarcassonneCentral world cup tile, since it's a stickered tile, it's difficult to know if a tile is an original one or not :

The original Porxada tiles seem to be not so "polished". Check these pictures from BGG where you can see the tile under the sticker. I don't know either if all the original tiles were signed by KJW. (Maybe someone who attended Jugar x Jugar in 2010 may confirm this.)

As an additional note, in order to keep track of the players who had a meeple in the city with La Porxada when completed, during the event players were given a laminated token consisting in a xeroxed copy of the La Porxada tile.

Thank you corinthiens13 for the pictures. I can tell you that your La Porxada is indeed a reproduction. The original stickers were  much smaller than the tiles themselves and did not reach the edge. The quality of sticker printing and application was aso not very good. Your tile looks too well made to be the real deal. But that is not surprising since it would be unlikely you would have one of 72 originals.

I've not seen tiles like the one in your photo. The originals didn't have a watermark and the text was quite different, although the layout seems to be the same.

This confirms what I thought, both my CC world cup and La Porxada tiles are copies. I bought them on Ebay on my early Carcassonne collectig years for about 8 Euros each  :o

Anyway, they're still nice tiles to have in play  :yellow-meeple:

It's a shame to have bought these tiles unofficially on eBay but at least you didn't pay too crazy a price and still have something to show for it.

From memory there were only around 20 of the original World Cup of Carcassonne Central 2014 tiles produced, and they all went to forum members here. Of all the fake tiles for someone to be knocking off to sell on eBay I'm surprised to know that this would be among them!

Anyway, they're still nice tiles to have in play  :yellow-meeple:

I am guilty of buying two fake world cup tiles quite a while back before knowing any better. However, the seller did make it clear that they were reproduction's and I think I paid $2 a tile.

I really enjoy the gameplay the tile brings to the game. We generally do not play without them!
