« on: January 24, 2020, 08:50:16 AM »
Ha ha ha!

I was measuring the whole thing...

I have 4 towers (2 C1 and 2 C2) trying to be ready for anything ;D and I never played with more than one at a time. Once I tried a game involving rookie players with 180 tile or so (almost a full tower) and they were exhausted half way through... That's why my second C2 tower is still flat...  ;)

I use Plano boxes for storage.

If you have mega Carc companions, feel free to get any number of towers you need, though.

Hi there!

Cundo sends you the tower dismounted and folded flat... It can hold around 180 tiles.

Do you still want the precise dimensions?

Hi again,

I prepared this image showing all the maple colors in one picture. It was taken with natural light in a cloudy day.

The meeples in plastic bags (right above and below the black horizontal line) are from Cundco.de, the rest are from Meeplesource.com. The Cundco meeples are next to their Meeplesource counterparts with the same colour. I don't have light green or brown Cundco meeples (yet) so I couldn't add them to the comparison.

You may see, some small differences in hue between Cundco and Mepplesource. The Meeplesource figures differ a bit in shape too (they are not licensed).... Meeplesource sent me a flawed orange meeple as you can see  >:(

There are 19-figure sets on sale for those colours not in brackets.

Hope this helps you pick the colours that best suit you. You can click on the image to expand it and see the meeples in more detail.

Hi cicerunner,

Welcome to the forum and congrats for your first post. You don't have to worry about any questions you may ask about Carcassonne. We are here to help. We are gentle people.  ;D

You can access the 19-figure sets from the Accessories section:
* You go to the Cundco home page. If it is in German, you can switch to English by clicking on the flag at the top right and selecting from the dropdown menu you get.
* Click (n Accessories on the horizontal menu strip and scroll all the way down. You will find an item called "Wooden Meeple in special colors."

The colous match the description. Are you interested in any particular one? What colours you cannot distinguish?

Cheers!

General / Re: Additional meeples for multiple basegames

I had planned a game with two base games in next family gathering... I was planning to try it with the 8 regular meeples + Phantom + Large meeple + Abbot. I will also add the River or River II.

Instead of the Abbot and the Large Meeple, and option would be to use two additional regular meeples.

Hope to have something to report about the experience...

Any time!

I'm glad it was just a delay. After all you had a happy ending.  ^-^

Official Rules / Re: The Plague: Question on Eradicating an Outbreak
« on: January 22, 2020, 01:24:40 AM »
Hi Buldeo,

I agree with Whaleyland's comments.

Regarding your question, your interpretation is right. The second paragraph is just a side note about how a swarm can be split and some fleas turn inactive as a result. This splitting won't lead to an outbreak eradication by itself.

The rules of The Plague are a source of much controversy as they don't follow the typical turn structure. For example, fleeing the plague or spreading the plague do not happen at a particular moment during a turn as of today.

Hi cgschwarz7,

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your order. This Christmas season caught HiG off guard with many employees on sick leave. As a result of this in addition to the proper vacations of their staff, they are responding slower than usual to their service account .

I had an issue with an order to Cundco a couple of months ago when the sent me half the order forgetting about all the Maps and some expansions I had order. I contacted them by email and I got the rest of the order without any further issues... I just had to wait for the second part of my order. So IMHO the bottomline is that they are always willing to help.

Regarding delivery times, I got a similar version of your issue (but the other way around across the Atlantic Ocean) with an order to Meeplesource I submitted on November 26th 2019. I received it on January 18th 2020... It was stuck at Customs in Spain since December 7th 2019 as per the international tracking. I even received another order from MeepleSource on January 2nd 2020 that I had submitted later on December 12th 2019... So deliveries are behaving randomly during this last month.

So I hope it is just a delay due to the overwhelming number of packages sent during the Christmas season. In any case, contacting Cundco may help you if they have more info about the order tracking or at least to explore other options with them. It is better than just sitting tight waiting for your order.

Good luck in any case!

I would include a small introduction with a link to the old forum and another link to the download area.  :)

One topic per recovered expansion...

I did that for some of the Advent Calendar expansions that weren't discussed earlier on the forum... and for Pirate Coast. This way you can find some pointers in the forum... otherwise you would find some stuff in the Download area without any additional context or info to know it came from IMHO.

I would recommend to create a new topic in Completed Expansions with a summary of the expansion and a link to the old forum and the download area...

Any volunteers? If not, I can do it myself.  ;D

I'm glad you liked the little something.

Well, to be true, the Meeple Council was admiring a Spiel 19 tile... They wanted to maintain the suspense about the prize.

If you enjoyed participating in the quiz, imagine what I enjoyed running it.  ;D

In any case, I will consult with the Meeple Council just to check if they are ready for another round. I think they are now in Bahamas ;)
