I'm going to have to ask - the two in the middle are from different publishers to those on the outside.  Any interesting differences?

I've yet to pop open my BB5, so I'll take some photos of the boards pre-popping tonight, if it'll help :)

Rosco: just what I paid for it: which was £12 + postage.  I ordered it from Milestone games, but it looks like they don't have any left.  It's pretty steep for the expansion,  On the plus side, I don't have to buy a box to post it; just let me know if I can help.

Mr Yellow's Ark of The Covenant arrived! [Round of Applause]  Thank you very much :D

Rosco, you should have said,  I have an unopened Catapult looking for a home; they seem hard to get hold of in the UK now :(

Hi greatstone3182.  As far as I know you're correct.  This edition of the River has not been released as an individual add on.  I'd consider these River Tiles to be 'old' art work; especially as the only modifications to the original River Tiles are the addition of 2 sheep and 2 vinyards.

Unfortunately, I've yet to find any secret levels in JCloisterZone :(  Maybe I should leave some :D

I've made a bit of progress but I'm not entirely happy with the result.  Here's the AI playing DnP + The Tower:

It's an 88MB GIF?!?!

Hi! Welcome to the forum :)

Tbh, most of the expansions are good in their own right and you'll probably find any mix of them adds strategy to the base game.  Lots of people here play Mega Carcassonne where they go all in with all the expansions at once. That can be daunting.  You've also got to consider how many people you're playing with.

I love DnP which is a great expansion. In my opinion, for two player: if you're looking for new mechanics next, You should probably add Abbeys and Mayors. Hills and Sheep then BCnB, though the bazaar isn't great for two players.

Edit:  Just fixed some typos, from my phone this morning.

I forgot the River2 tiles are in CKnC - that's a great way to start any game.

The Tower is an aggressive expansion, but if you enjoyed Dragon and Princess that will join in well.

Make sure you check out the CAR too ;)

4. A 3D version where you need special glasses designed to show the old art work to your left eye and the new Carcassonne 2 artwork to your left eye (they are still working out the bugs on that)

9. The European Union is working on a scheme that pays you not to place any farmer meeples but you still get the points.

:D

@danthirsty - Thanks for the feedback, I think I'll have a go at recording games; it's the next logical progression.  But it's quite intensive for memory though. You may have noticed the last few frames seem to slow down. The full size the GIF was 39MB!

Good spot with the Meeple - I noticed it yesterday, it was caused by me zooming during capturing; I seemed to have fixed it now!

Yep,  I've already got the go ahead from Farin; he's made to a branch any everything :D

He just has to put up with my terrible repository management.

I hacked the code to take a screenshot on every event and imported and aligned all the 140 images into GIMP yesterday, it currently looks like this:

I thought it was quite fun:

Warning it's 9MB: www.tehill.net/carcassonne/jcloisterzone/Animation.gif
