We (the UK) changed with you - so the difference is the same, thankfully  :(y) :(y)  :))

I just played Quevy - A very close game!

182 Decar : 178 Quevy

I seemed to have a really unlucky draw at the start of the game; but somehow managed to block Quevy's trapping of the large city in the middle.  That gave me a boost I needed to carry on.  Thankfully I drew the last cccc card as well to score 21 + 9 for a end of game farmer.

Awesome fight for the major field at the end - I pulled off a sneeky wrap around on the left to nullify the main field - but Quevy was able to finish that road for a massive 22points.  But I put my Big meeple to good use with the last tile of the game!!!!

NY10500220 vs Decar :  134 / 133

A fairly even game - except I lost :x  I wasted a meeple trapping the super cathedral city and played farmers a little late.  Got lucky my a cloister near the end too.

Thanks for the game NY!

Welcome to the forum - I would recommend keeping them out in a well ventilated area, with either: bicarbonate of soda and/or white Vinegar; I've had some success removing smells from old books and wood with these.  It can take quite a few days (eg: 5-7 days) for you to notice any difference though.

Zone2 vs Decar: 166vs 130 - a damn cccf card cost me the game - I was hoping for drawing all 3 of them in the last 20 tiles :(

Good game zone2 - thanks a lot!

I should be playing zone2 shortly.

I PM'd NY yesterday but no response yet; hopefully I'll squeeze a game in with him next week!

Hi BabyGamer,  I'd love to play, but I think Im fully booked for the rest of this week :(

I'm State side next week, so that's not looking good either :(

Best get my game in with NY when the times are good!

I'm traveling to the US with work on Saturday for a week, so might be out of action.  Though hopefully I can play NY and Andrew slightly easier.

I hope to be around Tuesday evening for a couple of games though, how does that sound?

Yall vs Decar  - 152: 134.

I made some terrible mistakes during the start and middle game; but played the trade good hards to catch up.  Poor use of my builder; stuck in the city on the left most of the game.  Trapped my own meeple and played the last cfff card in the wrong hole.  Was lucky to join to the farm late too.  Yall stuck the the basics and I didn't notice any mistakes; simply and methodically out played me.

Thanks for the game Yall!

Sorry for keeping everyone waiting for the result - it's been a very very busy week for me and I know Yall works night shifts.

Should just say that The Russian Count house found a home   :(y)  Plus a few alternatives, if it falls through.

Can't really thank the postman for this - I had to pick it up from the depot:

One's mine
One's spoken for
One's looking for a good home [but it's not exactly a bargain after, postage/VAT/duty etc]  PM me if you're interested.

Not played any of these :(

But I'm pretty sure zombicide is good with lots of players; two player is but more players is meant to enhance play.

I got to play my first game of The Castle yesterday - and decided to reread your review.  Amazingly, I think I agree with everything you said.

I love the artwork; all the people going about their business is really fun.
Only matching paths is confusing for a regular Carcassonne player.
Midgame the board becomes claustrophobic, finishing houses and towers is really important.
I find the wall tiles a strange strategy; they can change end-game scoring quite drastically.  I lost the game by a huge margin; scored no more points during the last quarter. :(
Fountains are clearly Wells.

The tile distribution is so varied, it's very difficult to formulate a tile counting strategy - basically chances are you can finish something if you want to.

I'll definitely reserve judgement until I've played a few more games.
