Nicely done oosie, all the way around. A good selection from a wide range of games. Enjoy!

MM44 Campaign book is an especially good score. I found a copy in a out of the way small town hobby/game stores a few years back and couldn't believe my eyes!

Still waiting for my KS of Hannibal. It's a long traverse to Canada!

jungleboy, I'm with you on Century Spice Road: Eastern Wonders!

I would add:

The Voyages of Marco Polo, Agents of Venice.
We are enjoying this game and look forward to more. (Already preordered).

Isle of Skye: Journeyman.
We love the original and look forward to what this will bring. I understand it ups the play time and complexity but I like what I've seen so far. (Already preordered).

Dixit Harmonies:
Dixit is a long time favourite so am always looking for new cards. (Already preordered).

Lorenzo il Magnifico: Houses of Renaissance.
This hasn't hit the table yet but I'm a big fan of the designers and it is near top of my list to get played.

Fields of Arle: Tea & Trade.
Sadly another title that hasn't hit the table but I am confident in this game as a big Uwe Rosenberg fan! In North America this title can be hard to get a hold of so I want to get it when and while I can. (Already preordered).

Terraforming Mars: Venus.
I've only played the main game once but loved it. I have a pal with great interest we just need to find the time. This looks to be a fairly easy one to integrate so would want to give it a go at some point. (Already preordered).

Needless to say I've made no new Year resolutions about game buying  >:D

Edit: Forgot to add - all images from BGG main page and likely Publisher photos

Since the thread has been bumped, thought I'd give a quick update on my list. I've received half of this list but have only played one so far.

The Voyages of Marco Polo, Agents of Venice. Have played this one twice and really like what has been brought to the game. I am relatively sure it won't be enjoyed by all but will leave it at that. I plan to do an update to my CarcC Marco Polo review, writing about all the expansion to date.

Isle of Skye: Journeyman. Still no sight on this side of the pond.

Dixit Harmonies: Have received this and the cards look wonderful as usual. Haven't played them yet but they are easy to incorporate. I like to play the decks individually but I'm sure one day, when I find a suitable storage, I'll make one big deck.

Lorenzo il Magnifico: Houses of Renaissance. Still no sign of this either. Pre-order is up but haven't placed an order, yet.

Fields of Arle: Tea & Trade. Received and unplayed. No surprised since I've yet to play the base game  :(

Terraforming Mars: Venus. Received and unplayed.

Anyone else got updates?

@Franks, Another amazing haul, I've held off from El Grande because it reportedly sucks at 2p, but probably from the same people that think Carcassonne and 7W suck at 2 players.  I'm sure it'll be fun!  I really really like Onirim and it's overall aesthetic design, so I hope you find it engaging too, especially when you add the expansions in the box.

BTW, the 2 impossible to find promos for Onirim (and the Sylvion Promo) are on the Zman webstore currently, you might want to grab them for a complete set :D

We know you love Marco too - looking forward to a review on that!

...

Decar, thanks for the tip! I ordered the promos. Shipping was a bit steep but its ok with all the money I 'saved' from the 'used' Onirim set ::)  ;D

Yeah! As mentioned, El Grande is intended for the game group, I won't even attempt it at home with two!

Three titles from a FOLGS, (friendly on-line game store) and one I picked up today from a FLGS. The later is the Onirim: second edition set. It was in the used section but it is unplayed with the cards still wrapped in plastic.

I finally caved in and got the El Grande - grand daddy. It's an older SDJ winner, which I have yet to play, but look forward to trying with a newish game group.

Fox in the Forest is a rare 2 payer trick-taking game, a genre I particularly enjoy.

Finally, The Voyages of Marco Polo expansion - Agents of Venice. We are still loving this game and at the stage to welcome new additional elements.

Ordered this and the newest mini expansions for Marco Polo and First Class!

Especially excited for the later two as well! I’m on my phone so don’t have the details on those two but they are easy to find on the site.

Cheers,

I got Queendomino to the table and for what its worth, these are my initial, short thoughts that I contributed on the FEB. 2018 'New to you', geek list on BGG:

1 x 2 player
1 x 4 player

Initial rating 8 (BGG scale)

Nice step up from Kingdomino! Well thought out expansions of the original game that don't just seem tacked on. The building tiles are the meat of the expansion and my favourite change up are the tiles that give bonus points for having separate landscape features. This is a great way to have those separate areas pay off, even without crowns!

With both base games we prefer a 7x7 tableau and with only two games in, I slightly enjoyed that with 2 players better, the features of Queendomino are more prevalent in play. With the 4 player game we added the kingdomino set as suggested in the QD variants, this was still a very enjoyable game but all that QD brings is watered down. Again, still a very enjoyable game!!

At the moment I prefer the Queen and have less desire to play Kingdomino but wouldn't hesitate to use it as an introductory game or for a quick(ish) filler. Either way these are nice if you have space in the collection!

A small game and an expansion today.

First off we are big fans of Dixit and wanted a change up. Looks like Muse will be fun to try out with our girls. Anyone played it?

The Muse cards can also be used in Dixit which is a nice plus. The box has a nice gold highlight that you can better see in this second photo. I also received an unexpected gold foil promo card, which is always nice.

Still not a big fan of the modular function of Cacao but my wife and I enjoy the occasional play.

This is a partial and edited description from BGG,

Cacao: Diamante contains four expansion modules for play with the Cacao base game or it's first expansion:

The gem mines, this one looks fun and 'easy' to incorporate. You basically remove the Temple tiles with the Gem mines. You set collect these gems to give you point markers.

The tree of life, this one looks a little meh for me. Remove some Gold tiles and you can score without a meeple facing this tile.

The Emperor's favor, a very easy one to incorporate - add the special oversized Gold Meeple onto on of the start tiles. If you place a tile in a row or column where he sits you move the Gold Meeple to your tile and collect one gold. If he continues to stay on your tile you could get one extra gold per turn

The new workers, super player tiles that all equal 4 meeples, including one tile that has 4 meeples facing in one direction. Again, looks like this one might be a little fiddly (removing other player tiles) but might be worth a go.

"All modules can be played individually or combined with others, whether from this expansion or the Cacao: Chocolatl expansion. With the "Big Game" variant, you can even play with all modules of both expansions and the base game."

Unfortunately it looks like the big game variant is for 3 or 4 players!

Hi Decar, apologies for the late response. I'm just back from a 4 day trade show & conference.

I feel like I've got too many things on the go to take this on, at this time, though I am intrigued by the game and the version. I have very little experience with on-line board game implementations but looks like they've done a fairly good job with this title!

Cheers,

A new edition of the previously out-of-print Finca (mentioned a couple of times upthread) is on Kickstarter at the moment. Finca is one of my favourite Euro games and has been hard to get for quite a few years now (I tracked down a copy in Italy once). It's already funded but unfortunately it seems like quite a lacklustre KS campaign and is a straight reprint with no new elements or component upgrades (except for one stretch goal that looks unlikely to be reached) or any of the usual fun KS stuff. It seems like a missed opportunity to be honest, but, anyway, it's a fun game and it's finally available again so it's worth taking a look at.

Agreed on the lacklustre campaign - at the same time its good to see a new company try to grow itself. The shipping fees are causing a bit of a tizzy for some but that is less of a concern if folks are able to do group buys.

Great little game with a super fun rondel mechanism, deserves to get back in print!

Thankfully I also own a copy already.

Nice you got this played again!

Mine still sits on the shelf  :(  I must make more effort on this one. It does look like good fun!
