you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man ..........     

Looks like my gingerbread man expansion ran away! Just got an email from eBay that the order I had placed and paid for is unfortunately not available at the moment. 

Has this ever happened to anybody? What do I do now? They will return the money but still no gingerbread man.

Well it is Friday the 13th!

General / Highwaymen vs Thieves

Are the Thieves now Highwaymen in Carc V2 ? Makes sense to me but the directions for Inns and Cathedrals V2 still calls them "Thieves." I"m assuming it's just a typo? What are your thoughts for name change? I like it but they need to keep it consistent  moving forward.

General / Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers V2 Tiles

I'm back with more questions about matching tiles (or not)- this time about the Zman V2 Hunters and Gatherers Carcassonne game. Over the holidays I considered buying this, but got quite confused with wondering if I should buy the old or new edition. (Was having a similar problem with the basic game as well- see what happened in my previous post    All I could find out at the time was that the box art was different, but no one was definitive about the tiles. I also noticed that the one mini expansion "Scout" wasn't included- but I wanted it! I was upset they didn't include it in the V2- now I was back to trying to figure out if the Scout tiles would match the H&G V2 or not! Does anyone know more about this... V1 vs V2 tiles? It's a confusing time to be joining the Carcassonne World with all these options. Glad CC is here to help!

General / Carcassonne V2 tiles not matching V2 expansions

I'm new to the world of Carcassonne after researching board games for a Christmas gift for our family. It was difficult deciding whether to buy the new Zman V-2 or go with the older versions.  I decided to go with the newer edition as I wanted the tiles to match moving forward and didn't want to pay the prices for out of print games.  I bought the base game, and two expansions- inns & cathedrals and builders and traders.  The problem is that the tiles for both the expansions are much darker than the base game.  While I understand that printing runs can vary in color these tiles are so much darker in color that it's distracting when I play the game. Is this a common problem? Do the tiles match better in the older editions?  I love the game but am disappointed with the new V-2 edition.  Any advice?
