We hope so. Don't have any news yet... They've become a tradition and this year it should be the first C3 Spiel Promo tile. ;)

We don't all hope so! I would be quite happy if the annual promo rush ended. I've managed to snag one for 7 out of 8 years, and some lovely person in 2016 helped me get the one that I missed. Had I not ordered first thing in the morning last year, I would have missed 2021's as well. This year, I'm fully prepped with stuff already waiting in my CundCo shopping cart, and I expect that some promo (possibly for Mists?) will release like it usually does. But I would still be happy to skip a year if no promo was created for 2022.

Unlikely, but I wish they would! I missed out on last year's, which is the only one I'm missing.

Are we sure it is an inn? I hope it is, because at least it would be more interesting than last year's tile, which was just a copy of the original 2014 one.

Well, nothing new there... I wonder if we shall break the 2021 record in speed at wjich the promo was snatched up. I distinctly remember it being gone 10 hours from the start of the advent sale.

This is why they also give it away with qualifying orders via their webshop. Just a case of staying tuned and waiting for it to become available. In previous years someone somewhere has usually noticed it and posted about it here within minutes/ hours.

And it also has been part of Carcassonne Central Advent Calendar quizz's first prize (at least 2020 and 2021, I don't know for previous years) :yellow-meeple:
P.S. For almost everything in this world, prices aren't based on the production costs only, but also on rarity, usefulness, importance for people (how many would someone be eager to pay for it)... What was the cost for Picasso to make a painting? Certainly not what those paintings are worth now... And I personally do not see a problem about this as long as we're speaking about non essential things (this pricing process is much more of a problem with basic food and medicine for example), and I wouldn't call resellers "sharks" as long as they're honest.
Selling a false copy of La Porxada for 50 USD is a sharky thing, since you're dishonest and luring someone. Selling an anniversary tile for 100 USD is a choice, and buyers have the choice to accept to pass on (after all, nobody really needs a tile so nobody's forced to accept the offer) or to buy it if it's important enough for him to pay that price :yellow-meeple:

But I understand it's frustrating, 2014 to 2018 tiles did cost me a kidney! :yellow-meeple: And the Russian promos did cost me the second one ;D
And a fake La Porxada tile too :'(

Well.with fake La Porxada you have choose to print itself. Because you have really small chance to get original of that tile - on stick label.
With russian prosím it's same. Some of them (big number) are also fake.
Its beauty of internet. You can just believe seller that it's original. But sometimes result can be unexpected :(

Where does this info about Russian fake promos actually come from? - or is that just a rumor ???
Honestly, I collect these promos passionately and would like to know how such a fake should be recognizable - but I suspect that there are no fakes at all >:D
Except for "official homemade" productions with European C-tiles.
And if you are even deeper into the "homeade-pnp-knock.off-scene", the following observation of the last years:
Not even the illustrious "P.h.e.y." fakes Russian promo tiles, or at least he has never offered them for sale on his usual platforms, in contrast to many other Carcassonne things.
If you mean the Russian promos with the "K" backwards - those are official printruns - just like the different shades of green.
By the way, "no kidding" I also like to collect carcassonne knock-offs, so from that point of view I would even be okay with Chinese Russian promo-fakes :yellow-meeple:
But as much as I try, I keep finding only originals ;)

It is shared experience of one of Czech forum member.
Sorry I can tell you which one, because it was on my first forum meeting and I saw members faces for first time.
Issue was that rounding of tiles didn't fit to original russian tiles and also that paper material was better then original russian promos tiles.
So not rumor, experience.

Sorry I can tell you which one, because it was on my first forum meeting and I saw members faces for first time.
Issue was that rounding of tiles didn't fit to original russian tiles and also that paper material was better then original russian promos tiles.
So not rumor, experience.

thats indeed interesting, because a tile in better quality indeed could be an indication of a fake, in fact, the poor quality of the Russian tiles is more likely to be an indicator of original products ;-)
Then, however, such fakes would be real rarities - haha.
Maybe I should ask in the Czech forum - pictures of it would interest me very much.

sorry, I'm not sure I understood your question.
Do you mean which Carcassonne remakes or knock-offs exist worldwide?
However, it is getting more and more "off-topic" here, so maybe further questions better via pm, or in a new thread.
