If cundco didn't get around to releasing C2 versions of some C1 expansions, they're never going to get around to it now are they? What with the 'beautiful, shiny, new' abomination that is C3 ...
So, in particular, would you agree that there is now zero chance of a C2 Besiegers? <sheds tear>

And i also don't think there will be Besiegers in C3 either to be honest. Seems like they have a few mini's they might convert (i would see Monasteries in Germany or Cathedrals in Germany seeing a C3 reprint), but i don't think there will be many (if any) C1 exclusive mini's that will see a reprint into C3

I'm willing to try to make a C2 version, but I don't own the C1 version and a model is needed, even if it's poor quality

I've been hoping for C2 Besiegers for several years to no avail.
Why not hope for C3 Besiegers this time? >:D

I remember that before the content of Anniversary Edition was revealed and free speculations about it flourished, for a certain period, a notion that a mini building up on the theme of Besiegers would be a part of it, was quite popular. That never materialized and possibly it was never an option for HiG but a mere wish of us fans. Now I do not expect anymore this type of a mini to appear. Which opens space for pleasant surprises ... 8)

I think in the world of Carcassonne, anything is possible. HiG quite like remaking expansions without revisiting the rules that were clearly broken the first time around. So beseigers seems trivial. HiG have been busy with new things this year thankfully, so the barrel has not been scraped.
