Title: Best way to draw on blank tiles?
Post by: ac1982 on March 19, 2022, 03:08:06 AM
Sorry if this has been discussed before, couldn't find a thread by using the search.

What's the best way to draw on blank (white) tiles? I mean, what kind of ink, pens, kind of colours? I'd like to prevent the colour to smudge while the tiles are handled. I'd like to try to draw on empty tiles for two reasons:
Did you guys ever try to paint/draw on empty tiles?

Whatever you use, I'd suggest using an artist's varnish to seal your creation and offer it protection from smudging and physical damage.

When I've printed tiles, I've smudged tiles between my finger and thumb deliberately, and when varnished, it shows no sign of wear. I was surprised.... but results do vary between products.

good luck and be sure to share photos!
