Title: attachment failed security check

Howdy. I tried to upload a picture with a post to an old thread, but I got the above titled error message. Any thoughts? -  :pink-meeple: It was a .png file of 650-ish kb.

I've had it a couple of times with JPEGs, but they worked OK with PNGs. I'd say try a different format.

Try to upload that file to google drive and give us that link. We can check that file. Because PNG is plus/minus supported format :D But there are also different versions of it.

I got the same issue with a few PNG files so far but cound't see a pattern yet. As a workaround I upload the offending image converted to JPEG format.
