Hi everyone, do you think we will have a special Essen '19 tile, this year?

I'm gonna order on Cundco the 4 new maps etc. so I'd like to get the new tile :-) (if any)

Am I right in thinking that the original map had to be ordered separately? Would this stop spiel tiles being added?

There should be a new tile this year. Assuming they are doing what they did five years ago, they probably ordered new tiles for four more years, which means we still have three more to go!

The old maps did indeed require separate shipping but I think you still got the free tile. Not sure if they just tossed it in the tube with the map or if they shipped it in an envelope separately. I wasn’t able to justify the cost of shipping the map to New Zealand.

And here we are, after beeing 99% there will be one, we can now be 100 % sure thanks to Cundco Newletter

Als Letztes haben wir noch ein paar kleine Spezials auf der Messe (neben dem Messplättchen 2019 natürlich)

Small Infos for those at Essen, they will also have a few original expansions "König&Späher"and "Der Graf", thanks to Schmidt Spiele who makes a clearance.

EDIT: All the new stuff, except the spiel tile are listed on Cundco’s website, though you can’t add to cart yet. I’m sure everything will be available once Essen is over!

Side note they have the new edition of Stone Age AND the expansion (renamed to “Dawn of Style”) listed as well.

As it was quite straightforward, I updated WICA to include the Spiel 19 promo tile.

Oh wow it is another weird city tile like the few that are found in the Hills & Sheep expansion. I love it!

Clarification at HiG booth (Essen): The bridge connects the two city segments.
