So this is what I did today... 

Luckily my cousin came to visit and helped me an hour into the work. I started at 12 during the day and we finished at 9 pm.
  This was not a game (obviously) we just placed the tile trying to create a mini world.

I like the secret message on the board, is your cousin's name Paul?

Not his, but mine. 

He actually didn't realise it, but he made a P by accident and when I pointed that out, we felt like it was a Twilight Zone moment. (Something we do when weird or unexplained happens, where we hum the Twilight Zone theme out loud.) 

With that, he decided to spell my name out on the board! 

There's also a few other easter eggs on the board if you can spot them.

I can't seem to find anymore, maybe the huge tower plus all the walled part in thetop right. It might be a reference to isengard or mordor? I don't know, I give up

Im pretty stunned by the fact that south seas does so well in it. if they had took a darker shade of green it would fit perfectly

The tiles at the right edge are not from "South Sea", but from from "The Discovery", a very old Carcassonne spin-off.

I'm intrigued to know how many points that huge city is worth. I zoomed in a little but can't quite work it out. Also, maybe I'm wrong, but the tile in the 14th column from the right, top row looks like it isn't placed properly. It might be from Die Belagerer or something but it looks like it's a cccf tile and one of the c sides (west) is matched against a field edge? Like I say, it's difficult to tell from the photo.

EDIT: it's a lot clearer in one of the other photos, the tile is actually from Sheep & Hills and does appear to be misplaced. Sorry for spotting this.

Yep! That is a Mordor reference. All those volcano tiles were to represent it and the tower of course with the lidless eye.

Fritz was kind to point out it's The Discovery spin off, which is of course correct. 

They do fit rather nice, actually better than depicted in these pictures. Compared to various tiles, like Big Box 4 which has a lot darker grass than the older version of Carcassone.
  Early base games would go well with The Discovery.

Lol! I knew I should have put it farther in. It's one of the easter eggs. A misplaced tile!  It's awesome you found it!

I don't know when we will get a chance for another megaCarc game / art but rest assure it will be even bigger!
  The main goal I am trying to achieve is 10 000 tiles, and what is shown in this thread is just 1 / 10 of that.
