- Danisthirty: Ahem, ahem!... To say truth, I was teaching these little rascals how to count tiles...
- Orange Mini Meeple: And I asked about hills! 
- Danisthirty: So we went to the scenario from Day 5 and we found the stolen tile hidden face down underneath the hill.
- Blue Mini Meeple: Cool, huh?
- Dorothy: Did you call the officers?
- Yellow Mini Meeple: Yes, we did it a while ago, but officer Scarecrow picked up the phone...
- Red Mini Meeple: (all giggling) We all know what that means...
- Danisthirty: Kids, please...
- Blue Mini Meeple: Perhaps do you think they'll find the culprit for all this mess, mister?
- Danisthirty: (automatic response) No!...  ... (Not very convinced) Er!... I mean... yes... They could really use some help...
- Dorothy: At least the stolen tile is back... The participants will get their prize in the end.

- Wizard of Carcassonne: I invited the most honorable Meeple Council and all the figures involved in the Advent Quiz.
- Wizard of Carcassonne: Close the doors until I say so.
- Blue Meeple: (murmuring) I have to go back to my owner's supply.
- Yellow Wagon: (whispering) I can't stay long. I have to move to another feature.
- Red Meeple: (whispering back) The sooner you shut up, the sooner this will be over.



- Wizard of Carcassonne: SILENCE! 
- Wizard of Carcassonne: As you all know, the Spiel'20 tile was stolen on Day 5 under Tin Man's watch. It was hidden under a hill tile and was found by Danisthirty and the Mini Meeples by chance on Day 23.
- Wizard of Carcassonne: A green ribbon was left behind at the crime scene on Day 5 and another one was found on Day 22 after the Wicked Witch of the West suffered an unfortunate accident...
- Lion: (interrupting) How is she?
- Wizard of Carcassonne: (another disdainful look) 
- Lion: Sorry for interrupting. 
- Wizard of Carcassonne: She is fine. She only has a splintered ankle. DrMeeple attended to her.
- Wicked Witch of the West: Hey I'm here! You can ask me. Shall I can convert you into a sheep token?
- Lion: Shhhhh!
- Wizard of Carcassonne: When the dust settled, her red slippers were gone.
- Wizard of Carcassonne: Officer Scarecrow received an anonymous letter with his own writing accusing the Gingerbread Man... but it was signed by Baba Yaga.
- Tin Man: How can that be? Who is that?
- Wizard of Carcassonne: (another disdainful look)
- Wizard of Carcassonne: I will come to that later. Baba Yaga is the Wicked Witch of the West's maiden name.
- The Mini Meeples and Scarecrow: Ooooooooooh!
- Wizard of Carcassonne: Ahem ahem!
- Scarecrow: (muttering) Sorry!
- Wizard of Carcassonne: On top of this mess, the interference of The Wicked Witch of the West and Frankie Stein disguised as Dorothy was adding some noise to the picture.
- Wizard of Carcassonne: They were trying to spy on their kid, The Grinch! But their actions seemed to set things in motion on Day 5.
- Wizard of Carcassonne: They also facilitated the escape of Tin Man on Day 19.
- Wicked Witch of the West: Thanks for the recap, honey, but we want to solve all this mysteries. They already replied to your questions. Will you cut to the chase?
- Wizard of Carcassonne: (absolutely disdainful) I am the almighty...
- Wicked Witch of the West: Blah blah blah... SHUT UP, little brother!!!

Question #1: The Gingerbread Man completes these two cities. How many points does Yellow score?




Answer #1: There are two possible answers depending of the scoring rules applied to Halflings:
* C1 rules (updated version in 10/2015): 2 triangle tiles in a square space = 2 tiles
* C2 rules: 2 triangle tiles in a square space = 1 tile

This post shows the last clarification by HiG updating the scoring rules for Halflings in C1:

C1 Halflings rules:

The tile completes two cities at the same time:
* Yellow scores 12 points for the larger city, which has 2 Halfling tiles, 3 square tiles and 1 coat of arms (5 tiles x 2 points + 1 coat of arms x 2 points = 12 points).
* Yellow scores 4 points for the small city (2 tiles x 2 points = 4 points).

Bottomline:
- Yellow scores 16 points in two separate scoring events (12 points for the larger city + 4 points for the small city).


C2 Halflings rules:

For those applying the old Halfling rules (2 Halfling tiles are counted as 1 tile), the results would be as follows:
* Yellow scores 10 points for the larger city, which has 2 Halfling tiles (counted as 1 tile), 3 square tiles and 1 coat of arms (4 tiles x 2 points + 1 coat of arms x 2 points = 10 points).
* Yellow scores 4 points for the small city (2 tiles x 2 points = 4 points).

Bottomline:
- Yellow scores 14 points in two separate scoring events (10 points for the larger city + 4 points for the small city).

* The C1 rules reflect the latest Halflings rules according to the clarifications from 10/2015.
* The C2 rules were clarified in 1/2021 returning to the original intent of the ones provided in 2014.
