Is a barn a meeple ?

Simple as that really. My overwhelming feeling is NO but I couldn't put my finger on it in WikiCarpedia and I don't want to keep the other player waiting. (I have assumed NO to keep the game going.)

I'm playing solo, two handed.

Hi cicerunner,

Barns are not meeples. They are special figures, the same as pigs, builders and shepherds.

Maybe I'll divide them to three groups:
1. supporters: builder and pig
2. Special figures: barn and shepher
3. Scoring board figures: Lady (messenger) and robber

So you have special figures in the playing area and special figures on the scoreboard (scoring figures)
