Problem solved. I'm behind two routers so I just had to set up port forwarding on both.

Hi,
A friend of mine has only 32 bit Windows therefore he can't use recent JCZ versions.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to host games with the legacy (4.6.1. or older) versions of JClositerZone? I haven't tried it for years, and now it doesn't seem to work for me but maybe I'm just missing something. I think port forwarding is OK.

Good catch. Reported to @farin. Because there can be issue for loading tilesets, expansion def, a lot of thinks which can caused mine input to allow Addons in JCZ, which caused zillions of changes in engine, client, and core it self.


But have to say, life is now more beautiful. Just adding new possibilities for fan expansions can be more quicker by farin. But year ago, it was not possible, neighter adding tiles. So I'm happy for this what we have :D

Well, starting JCZ from another directory did not completely solve the issue. Since I've installed some addons (City Gates, Labyrinths) I can't start any new games. I assume the reason for this might be again the location of the installed addon file under the C:\Users\<my name>\AppData\Roaming\JCloisterZone\addons directory.

Hmm. That interesting, because default path for directory is
%AppData%\jcloisterzone
which in my case is "C:\Users\stano\AppData\Roaming\jcloisterzone"

I think I've figured it out. I copied the whole jcloisterzone folder from "C:\Users\<my name>\AppData\Local\programs\jcloisterzone"  to "C:\jcloisterzone", and starting the exe from the latter I get no error message. :)

1. Which OS you have? OS/Win/Linux?
2. Can you check version of tiles, Menu Session / Settings / Add-ons - Classic v6?
3. Menu Help About JCloisteZone Game Engine 5.9.0 2021-11-17?
4. When setup new game, do you have showed tile images?

1. Win10
2. Classic Artwork v6
3. JCloisteZone Game Engine: 5.9.0 (2021-11-17)

Is this error message familiar to anyone? I cannot start a game with the new v5.9.0 JCZ, it says Engine error every time.

Great news. This is one of the most beautiful fan expansions, an awesome work by stalcupojoy. Can't wait to try it.

CarcF is missing a download section like we have here, making it very difficult to find downloadable content.

You have to post a number of comments on the site before you can get access to the downloads area. Maybe you've not reached the threshold yet?
Do you know what is the exact number? It seems that 10 posts isn't sufficient.

Hi,

Do you think it is allowed to move a follower to a volcano tile by a magic portal? I mean if the dragon isn't standing there, of course.
(It seems that it isn't possible on BoardGameArena. Is that a bug?)

I can't find the clear answer to this question either in the CAR or in the WICA. Though WICA says that "you may not place a meeple on a Volcano tile" but I assume that this sentence applies to the player who's just placed the volcano tile.

What do you think?
