Title: Big box 2016 rule clearification - gold mines

We got the big box from 2016 and have been reading the rules and the conplete annoteded rules and read this forum, but we havent found a answer that is 100%.

The case is:
Idraw a tile with»ccrr» and gold mine i place it according to the rules.
And by placeing the tile i complete a road and earn 4 points.
But can i place both gold pieces on the road i just finished, which allows me to immediately
Collect the gold?

Or is the road completed before the gold placement so i must put the gold somewhere else?

Hi Mikki1211,

When placing a tile and distributing the gold pieces, proceed in the following order:
1. Place (gold) tile
2. Place gold pieces
3. Place follower
4. Score
5. Award gold pieces

It is therefore possible to place both gold pieces on the road that you just finished, which allows the gold to be awarded immediately.
