Title: JCZ 3.1.1 Online Game Error Report
Post by: rfielder on March 08, 2015, 07:31:44 AM
Farin -  just finished a game with jungleboy, using the JCZ 3.1.1 online game server.

Throughout the game, I was getting a red band across the top of the screen with an error message: "NoSuchElementException".  Screen shot attached.

It went away on it's own once, and I closed it twice.  Did not come back after the last time I closed it.

Screen shot attached.

Meanwhile I did not have the same message.

Second issue - ghost text "underneath" chat text during a game.  Again, JCZ 3.1.1

One screen shot attached.  Second screen shot will be in the next message

danisthirsty and jungleboy reported that they could not see the text.

My monitor is calibrated for photo and video use, so perhaps is is showing a wider range of levels, thus displaying stuff that is present but not visible on other monitors.

I can confirm "ghost text bug". I can see it quite often in the top-left of the window, when chat is going on in bottom-left corner.

I have seen it too. Just didn't see it in this game. It's funny reading all those comments again and re-living the game though...

I also noticed that the pre-game screen has resorted to an older (previously fixed) bug where the player nickname always shows the name (and colour) of the locally connected player rather than the person who actually typed the message. Everything seems OK once you get into the actual game.

ghost, i hope they are gone, but seems to be still happen sometimes - some internal java glitch with opacity

about "NoSuchElementException" - using "report bug" (or at least sending error.log) is much more worth then screenshot.
Without stacktrace i am not able to identify it.

Sorry, didn't think of that during the game.  Will do that next time I see the error.
