Although I am interested, I fear customs will destroy you financially to have a large shipment come in.  Individually packed sets will be exempt from customs charges.

I agree. Probably I’ll do by myself... or choose to miss this set
Se vuoi possiamo chiedere a Ted un'unica spedizione in Italia, io ho già ordinato due set + i bicchieri e al momento il costo della spedizione è di 58,60 $

OK so it seems that there are little savings to be made unless people can share postage with someone who also intends to have their tiles posted to the same country as themselves. This makes sense as any savings made on having items sent from the US to a single country will soon be lost when international postage is taken into account a second time to get pieces to their final recipients. Plus there's tax/ customs etc (wherever this applies). :@

So while I'm all for doing things together and helping each other out, a single bulk order isn't going to be the way forward. Let's buddy-up with our fellow countrymen, or order for ourselves if there's no other way. C:-)

I am probably grouping with Bigboss for Germany, waiting for more Infos.

But actually something is not clear, the actual 72 tiles are made of what ? This rubber type material for the scoretrack ? Or the standard Cork-carton type ?

If it is the later, it means a random spillage will eventually kill the tile or maybe I am mistaken ?

I think they're made of card like a typical beer mat in a pub. So you'll want to be as careful with these as you would your regular Carcassonne tiles.

1. regarding the postage to germany, I will ask carcassonneshoppe now via facebook!

2. The rubberized coaster tiles aren´t anymore availlable - We get  "only" the normal cork tiles.

PS:
There were various additional material (for a "special" complete AoC Set), which had been produced in smaller edition.

• x12 mini fridge magnets in 6 colors for use with the Tunnels expansion coaster pack
• x6 BPA-free acrylic 1.5 oz. shot glasses in clear with Phantom Meeple print in 6 colors
•  rubberized coasters
•  gold, silver, bronze acrylic shot glasses

I'm looking for:
● Carcassonne shopdisplays (esp.dicegame.+ Minis ger.)
● Carcassonne Στα Κάστρα του Μυστρά (2002) Greek first edition
● Carcassonne - chinese Sur knight kings editions
● ETCOC / WTCOC 2020 commemorative tiles
& more -> https://ibb.co/cCcm4SB

Are you sure this material is still available? I asked Ted for phantom Meeple but he told me the blue one isn't available anymore...  :(
I didn't know about the Tunnel magnets, I am going to ask him for them! Thanks!

@cletus81

sorry, I've probably expressed it badly - all the special things for AoC are sold out - as far as I know - just many years ago   :'(

So my information about exclusive bonus materials for AoC was "unfortunately" meant purely informative.

PS:
of course, it's better to ask him anyway... :D

Best!

Hey guys! Wow - a lot of comments on this - you guys are amazing  8)
I am buried in emails, but since I don’t know everyone’s real name with CC username, not sure if I’ve already talked to you all yet! If you’re interested and haven’t bundled up with folks, please be sure to email to reserve items!

But actually something is not clear, the actual 72 tiles are made of what ? This rubber type material for the scoretrack ? Or the standard Cork-carton type ?

Just to clarify - these are not the standard coasters as you get from a pub. Pubs usually have Light Weight pulp board coasters (approx 40pt) where these are two sizes thicker (2mm thick) and stronger (Heavy Weight pulp board coasters - (approx 80pt))

Meaning, they can take a lot of abuse! One of the Kickstarter updates from the project shows the test results with whiskey damage, coffee ring stains, and water - results were very favorable!

Giant Carcassonne Tiles!

Received my set while out of town this week. Played it right out of the package tonight. Super cool novelty set to have. Plus, it’s the only version of Corn Circles 1 that I have (one of the few 1.0 items I don’t have - in small form)!

Now just need to get my hands on some giant meeples and giant tunnels...

Here’s a pic of the game. It really needed something though for scale, but zooming in shows the tiny translucent meeples we used.

I have been on holiday and came home to a set today! I haven't unwrapped them yet and am contemplating the best storage solutions.
Anyone have an idea on how best to store these!?

Wanna play Carc? Can we add just one more expansion?

What would you consider the best expansion tiles? Specifically the tiles.
