This will just be an expansion with just tiles and no special rules (similar to GQ11).  It will consist of the 6 roundabout tiles I did in the create a tile thread, 2 road tiles from the same thread and 4 to 7 tiles with a winter theme (depending on what I find and how well they fit with the existing stuff: trees with lights, snowmen, reindeer, etc. images that will have no extra rules - for the time being).

It looks okay, but needs a bit more transition between the grass and the snow, like muddy grass or something. Right now, it looks like a freak rain storm just dropped snow on a single spot. Other than that, looks good!

I think the snow needs some sort of texture to it.

How about this?  My concern with this is that it would look very weird and out of place if placed on the board with the regular Carc tiles.

I think the snow covers too much of the farm.  At a quick glance one might even mistake it for an expansion(such as wheat or lavender) as opposed to actual field. Perhaps make the snow more centralized, but make sure the edges of the tile are the normal field green.

You can't win them all... I'll see what I can do... BTW, the edges of the tile are normal field green - it's just that it's not a large area.

I like that better, but the white near the snowman could be a little thicker. Other than that, it looks much better and I like it quite a lot.

OK, it'll be thicker in the final version.  Thanks for the comments.  I think I'll do 2 snowmen and 2 christmas trees.  Does anyone have any preference for the bits surrounding the tile?  I'd prefer to have at least 2 fields, no icons, no rivers or forests or anything fan made.

Edit: Strikethrough above.  Tiles are done!

Novelty - Tiles look great.  The size of the snow on the field was almost exactly what I had in mind, thanks for all the hard work.

Thanks!

I know I said there are no special rules, but I'm sure someone will probably start thinking of extra rules Grin  Guys, please let this expansion stand with no extra rules.  Thanks.  (I've got plans for the extra winter features!)
