So far we have 11 members signed up. One more and we have 2 divisions!! I am hoping to at least double this. Can you please pass the word around? Remember that this competition is for seasoned veterans and noobs alike. The more new blood the better.

I like the idea and would like to give it a try. Though if a season ends up lasting 6 months, you can expect me to go back to spectator mode. For now I'm in and excited about all this.

Good to hear from you again my friend. A season will last exactly 10 weeks. No more, no less. We are currently working out what to do with unplayed games.

The idea is that it will start on 1st December (winter league), with the Spring league commencing on 1st March. This will give me time to sort out new starts and update the divisions.

This means that we have 2 top divisions of 6 players and a third division of 3+ players. If you are thinking about joining us, or have any questions about whether or not you are suitable to join, please let me know.

Remember that the idea of this league is to give as many CC members as possible a chance to play regular not-too-serious games against opponents of roughly the same ability. There are very few of us who know all the expansions, and even less that are any good at using them all. Promotion and relegation are only there to allow us to keep the divisions having players of similar abilities. They are not 'badges of honour' or 'disgrace' except in the Premier league which, I assume will be fiercely competitive.

I have spent the greater part of this evening trying to put together the draft version of the rules, which I will be discussing with my colleagues over the next week. I have attached them here for your information.

Please note that by joining this league that you are making a commitment to play all of your games by the end of the season. Not doing this will result in penalties that will not only affect yourself, but also all other players in your division.

For this reason I will soon be making a post on this thread asking you all to select your desired expansion that you will be playing in your matches. Your reply to this will confirm that you are committing to play all of your games. I will not be chasing replies. Anyone who does not answer will not be included in the setting up of the league this time around (though you will be able to join in the Spring 2019 season, should you wish).

Please read the rules that I have attached and if you have any points to make, please let me know as soon as possible.
