I believe KJW has taken a few minutes to address the community as a whole. I have noy had chance to look yet!

His message at CarcF reads as follows:

klaus-jürgen"

Hopefully someone else will be able to provide a better translation of this, but according to Google translate this reads something along the lines of the following:

"hello all together: -H
playful greetings from our meeting in marienthal on the polish border!
we are fine here, we play a lot of carcassonne, test and enjoy the beautiful environment!
Beer is by the way again cold, but since I do not like that, I like to leave it to the other forum members (at least those who are here ;-) and stay with my cola) :)
apropos "being here": too bad that are no longer there, it is really nice here and we have a lot of fun!
hope you are all fine and you still have fun with carcassonne!
For my part, I will do my utmost to keep it that way and hope you like the new SAFARI, which will be released soon: -BD
best wishes to all and not be angry if I do not sign up again for a long time. so forums etc are not my thing. and this is also the only forum in which I am ever registered.
sunny greetings and have fun playing and chatting !!! : D
Klaus-Jürgen"

Hi all,
today it is hot but I think it will come a thunderstorm.
I am writing here and drink my dark beer.
I hope to get some answers for the clarification of rules - you know because of the "at your own risk".

Decar (and everyone) thanks for the updates. What a treat if must be to be part of it!

Please wish KJW best wishes from a Canadian fan and see if he has a tease of any upcoming releases. It might be a once in a life time to have a hit game but how great would it be if he were to come up with another evergreen and expandable title! I hope we see more to come from KJW!

Cheers!
Franks

Wanna play Carc? Can we add just one more expansion?

I've played today against MrNumbers and against Udo and I've won both games.  >:D
Udo and MrNumbers are the strongest players at our tournament. The tiles of Carcassonne liked me today - so I had the chance for a win.
Decar did a photo from the score.

Moritz Brunnhofer and Christof Tisch left us in the morning and they are traveling homewards now. Yesterday both talked with me about the clarification of rules.

Klaus-Jürgen Wrede will leave us in the afternoon.

This afternoon (after Coffee Time) we will have our last 2 tournament games.

It is beer time now. The winner team of our tournament is "Latvia" (MrNumbers and Udo). The prize was a 5kg Meeple.
The second team was the "UK" (Decar and Mrs_Decar). The prize was a Carcassonne-Landscape clock.

They've also got framed and signed graphics by Doris Matthäus ("Über Stock und Stein").

We did some Bingo rounds: The prizes are for example: candle holder, framed and signed graphics, beer coaster.
The monastery dark beer here in the St Marinenthaler Monastery is very good.

And so it is over!

I passed on your messages to Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and he left us a message which I posted on twitter:
https://twitter.com/Carcassonne/status/1015214732821893120?s=19

We will be searching for ways to find homes for these awesome tiles up over the coming weeks!

We have also played Meeple Bingo: Mr Numbers won another signed Doris Matthäus picture. Benny too!

Yesterday a nice game with expansions 2,3 and 10:
https://twitter.com/Carcassonne/status/1015499647740252161?s=19

Mrs_Decar won by only a few points - it came down to the last tile...and the Dragon!

Last night we played meepolympics -

https://twitter.com/Carcassonne/status/1015646933300457472?s=19

Again Mr Numbers won - even though he only scored 8 in shove-meeple  :o   ;D

We are on the way home now.

I hope to have time to post more details about our adventures in Ostriz. And also to express how wonderful it has been meeting so many people from our Carcassonne Community and how fortunate we all are to have so many dedicated people take up all of their time organizing the events, prizes and transport!

Hi all,
as Decar said - the time in Ostritz is over. For us Germans it was not only some great days for playing board games like Carcassonne, it was also a seminar to speak all day English...

I am back at home now.

The participants of our Carcassonne Fan Meeting have played following Carcassonne games:
- The Carcassonne tournament: Carcassonne New Edition (base game with farmers without river and without the Abbot)
- Carcassonne South Sea
- Carcassonne Gold Rush
- Carcassonne Safari (a prototype - almost the final version)
- Carcassonne Über Stock und Stein
- Carcassonne Star Wars
- Carcassonne base game (with farmers, without river and without the Abbot) with mini expansion "Die Obstbäume" (Fruit Trees)
- A big game with Carcassonne New Edition (with farmer, with river and with the abbot) with expansions (Traders & Builders, Princess & Dragon, Under the Big Top). For this big game we put 2 tables together. I think we were 5 or 6 players:
Maj. Frost (yellow meeple), MrNumbers (red ice meeple), Mrs_Decar (pink ice crushed meeple), kettlefish (green meeple) and Decar (black meeple). It was a funny game, but the most of my other players in this game didn't give the Dragon enough to eat. The poor Dragon was to often hungry after his Dragon move - the Dragon move was seldom all 6 steps long.
The fairy gaves her nice 1 point at the beginning of the players turn and sometimes the 3 points for a finished feature.

I am uploading 108 images as we speak!

I have completed my first draft of the meetup, but now it looks as if Word has crashed and not saved my 12 pages of write up :(
