Just poor taste I think SamoolSamosa, 7 Wonders is a great game. I even like it at 2-players.

Babel seems to be within print runs, which is causing the price to inflate due to limited availability.

I always check boardgameprices.co.uk to get a rough idea of costs and availability.

Think I might have to update my Shame Wall this evening ;(

Time for a little update on this.

ADDED

Al Caboon - Originally I thought this one was an expansion to Boonanza and therefore I didn't put this one on the list originally. But it turns out to be a 2-player version of Boonanza.
Crazy Creatures of Doctor Doom - Found this one for a few bucks. I don't have high hopes for it but for the few bucks it cost me I'm willing to give this a try.
Hannibal & Hamilcar: Rome vs. Carthage - Received this one in the mail last week. (So it's not really a "shame" that I haven't played this one yet...) I'm eager to try this soon!

Boonanza - Played this one with all the kids. They really seem to like the trading aspect in this game. Nice fast playing card game for which we still need to try again with the one expansion we have. As the box is small and the game is fun, there's no harm in holding on to this one.
Felix: The Cat in the Sack - Played this one with all the kids as well. I was afraid the bidding/bluffing might discourage them, but they were actually really into it. Making good decisions and trying to trick the others into getting a "bad buy". A keeper!
Mystery Express - Played this about a handful of times now. The girls especially really seem to like it as do I. As with every Days of Wonder game the quality is top notch! No doubt this one stays in our collection.
Recycle - An interesting little card game that plays quite fast. It's not leaving my collection just yet.
Star Wars: The Queen's Gambit - Played this one last weekend with a friend. Quite the dice chucker, but we had a blast playing this. Another one to keep and no doubt this one is going to get played more. With the limited amount of text it's likely a good fit to play with my son as well.
Toffe Peren (Auf die Birne) - Forgot to put this one on the list originally. Played this with all the kids. But unfortunately it's not a game for us and it will leave the collection...

A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (Second Edition) - I'm still very eager to get this one to the table shortly.
GIPF Series of Games (except GIPF, PUNCT, and YINSH)
Hammer of the Scotts - I had an attempt at this but I find it hard to go through the rulebook for some reason.

Tide of Iron - This is likely the game I own the longest that hasn't hit the table yet.

With more removals than additions to the list, we're on the right track at least. However, within the next two months I'm still hoping to receive about 3 Kickstarter games...

My current shelf of shame:

Pandemic Iberia - I have some interested people so hopefully it will get played soon
Biergarten - if we didn't play it on Saturday at a meetup with three people who are drawn into the game's artwork, I'm not sure when I'll ever play!
Concordia - just brought it home today so it doesn't really belong here (yet)
Back to the Future: An Adventure Through Time - for sale

All in all, that's not too bad.

I'm looking forward to playing this one. The review from Shut Up & Sit Down made me want to have a copy. I don't think this is a game for with my family but it should be a good fit for my gaming friends.

That's a nice and short list indeed, jungleboy.

Pandemic Iberia is currently my favorite Pandemic game to play, though I've only won it once... I also played it solo a handful of times. Concordia and Colosseum are family favorites. Both good euro games that aren't that heavy. And with Colosseum being a Days of Wonder game the components are once again excellent! I've played Onitama only with my son so far. I'm looking forward to play this one with my father-in-law as he's an abstract gamer.

The whole GIPF Series is great; I wish more locals people were into abstract games.
