I wouldn't want to see any Carcassonne Central members mislead.
I do not think this item is 'a high value' item.
For a start, there's nothing exclusive in this box, all the expansions can all be found individually.

Currently, there is a much cheaper copy on ebay, they come up quite frequently:

There's currently a someone selling the same Big Box on BGG for $150, which I still think is excessive at more than half the price offered here.

No one is forced to buy it. The price tag is an assessment for collectors.

And frankly, it is getting tiresome to having to explain everything or being squashed by others ganging up on me. Whether it's here, or on Slack.

But as you say, nobody's forced to buy them.

IMHO, very strange attacks on Paul!
Could somebody offers the same option and sells separately (or without boxes) new rare (and not) expansions and minis? Come on!
As for me I was interested in Rivers III and 6-7 set of meeples and I have bought it with cheap shipping costs in envelope. How much is the price of BB5 (that I am not interested in) included these components with shipping to me? So high that it's quite expensive to buy BB5 only for the Rivers III!
May be BB3 is expensive? OK. But where can we buy new sealed one for lower price?
