Reviews & Session Reports / Re: Tile sleeves
« on: September 20, 2013, 01:43:56 AM »
Hello, i have found out that there are currently two types of Carcassonne sleeves available from Swanpan asia.

There is the 'thin' quality which comes in packs of 160 is already available for sale in some stores and the Premium quality sleeves which comes in packs of 100 are still on preorder. Both types of sleeves are adhesive. (which means can be sealed)

The following pictures are the 'thin' quality sleeves.

The words translates roughly to 'The excessive parts of the flap can be cut away'

According to dice tower, the sleeves are sealable.  ??? I guess i will probably buy 1 pack to test it out when it s available (it is currently on pre-order)

1 pack is about $4 and there are 100 sleeves in each pack. So i guess, it 's quite affordable? (they are premium sleeves)

Hi danisthirsty, here are some clarifications :-[

1) The reason why i put that i have last few available Corn Circle 1 for sale is because im the only seller that is selling it on
2) The reason why Corn Circles 1 and Cathars are so expensive because, i bought them at expensive prices from Germany. I took time and effort to hunt down for these items.
3) As for the La Porxada, it was stated on the listing that they were not the original. I have stated it very clearly in the description and every buyer was satisfied as they continuingly make request to me to make more for them. But i have stooped making them for a very long time already. I will not sell them anymore in the future.
4) The Corn Circles and Belagerer in the listing are genuine. The reason why i price it high is because of 2 reasons.
    - I have a limited quantity of them in my collection, so only those that can afford should get them.
    - I sold a number of Corn Circles 1 at around the listed price. The reason why it was listed so many times was because they was sold. i relisted it to sell another copy.
5) The changing of location from Singapore to Germany was an error. I thought they wanted to country of origin.
6) I noticed my mistake of putting the Hans Im Gluck logo. So i put it down.
7) I only have 1 copy of belagerers in my collection. im only willing to sell if some buyer is willing to pay. If not I can't bear to sell it away.  :-\ (i was actually hoping no one who buy it, but i listed it anyway if someone reaaally wants it :-[)

Sorry for causing all the uproar  :-[

Official Rules / Re: 12-Count Expansion

It's the games quarterly 2011 expansion which came together with the magazine which is now defuncted. The tiles are not that rare. But $4 on Amazon is the cheapest I have seen around.  O0

Here's the game box

the latest edition of Klaus-Jurgen Wrede's masterpiece plays Carcassonne Carcassonne South Seas in the Caribbean is the title. Besides the game box, we do not have any further information about the game. Whether now the water meadows to the cities to islands, is pure speculation. But what stands out is a button on the cover: "Carcassonne Around the World" is to read them, and suggests that this is the beginning of a new series. We create two, three, many of Carcassonne ...

Update: Now the first details were known: the players place their meeples to collect bananas, shellfish or fish that need to be shipped then to get points.

Seems like it is a new series of Carcassonne..

I wrote to and Hans in Gluck asking them if Carcassonne Belagerer will be available in Cundco Shop and here are their replies:

From Cundco shop:

no, we're sorry. "Die Belagerer" are an exclusive article of the german company "Muller" (

Best regards
Till Dechene
Carcassonne & Co GmbH

From Hans Im Gluck:
Carcassonne: Die Belagerer will be an exclusive addition to a special Carcassonne that will only be available at a shop called "Muller Drogerie".

I can not tell you what will happen after a years time, but Die Belagerer will not be available at for at least one year.

Kind regards,

Michael Fronia

Reviews & Session Reports / Mini review on the latest Minis!
« on: August 12, 2013, 12:34:15 AM »
Hello! here's a mini review on the latest Carcassonne mini expansion after playing a few games with them with different expansions!.

I like the Corn Circles II alot, but generally work well with all other expansion other than Corn Circles I, as too much of them makes it too powerful!. The Gold mines worked generally well with all other expansions even though the icon on the tiles were a little weird to me. (I think they are too big!) The Messengers and Robber do not work well together as it makes the scoreboard look very confusing and crowded, especially with 6 players!. But they work okay with all other expansions if independent of one another. The Fliers was the second best expansion for me as it was simple and allow meeples to move to vacated spots. The best expansion was the Ferries as it is the most simple and fun expansion! Works very very well with Inns and Cathedral and also with Abbey & Mayor, Bridges Castles & Bazaars.

All in all, i encourage you all to purchase the minis as they are generally really good expansions!
