Official Rules / Re: City with Halflings
« on: February 06, 2017, 03:03:41 AM »
yeah thats right.
Most games we've been playing are mild, but we are planning to do a more aggressive version (with the dragon, plague, tower, catapult, crop circles, robbers, mage&witch etc), so it can really come in handy then :P

Oeh, tricky one..
I own the Tower, but have only played it once when we were in Holland and played with my brothers set
I own the Festival, but bought it via marktplaats (dutch second-hand site), and my sister collected it for me so I didnt have a go at it yet.
Travel version same; my parents have that one now
Then I have the Robbers and the King&Robber (have used the 5 extra 'normal' tiles, but not the longest/biggest road/city) but never played them.
We've only played the WoF and the Catapult once (both yesterday!) and will probably use them again :P

Does anyone know if there is any clarification on this?
There is one halfling tile that is all city. If you have that one, but not another halfling with city, it becomes kinda useless to play if the city is not completed with that tile.
As the halfling gap does not count as a full gap for cloisters, so it kinda makes sense that it completes a city?

Are you willing to sell any of it? I don't have the C,S&C or Spiel tile, but am interested in buying some of the expansions you have :)

Official Rules / Re: German Cathedrals and cult place
« on: February 04, 2017, 06:19:47 AM »
The German Cathedrals work different than cloisters or cult places I'd say. The Cathedral can take much longer than just 8 surrounding tiles to complete (once had one with 2 labyrinths connecting to it).
So they work independently from each other

It makes it a bit of a gamble to i guess. If you cant complete and later score a pyramid, you lose a meeple untill the end of the game if i understand it correctly. Sounds interesting...

Dont forget purple and pink! I got those as extra colours hehe

Was to be expected. Lets hope its a nice expansion, hopefully its worth considering it  :@

I found a lot of luck with this topic:

It has some good tips of printing new tiles!

I do. Got one from my brother, and later ordered the 6th expansion. So got that one double.
Also got the expansions for the winter edition, but not the base game of that

I got a delivery from Italy today that brings me another (big) step closer to completion!
Ordered a big box 5, and the Tower and the Catapult.
I use the box to keep everything in, and i already had 2 Carcassonne Organisers from Broken Token.
See picture for a view of the goodies :P

If you want one, look at the Italian amazon. They have it for a bit over 20 euros:
https://www.amazon.it/Giochi-Uniti-Carcassonne-Espansione-Catapulta/dp/B007K82JQ8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1485619000&sr=8-7&keywords=carcassonne
Don't know what shipping is to US, but several other older expansions are still available there.
