Well.
I checked rules for 10th anniversary edition.
In part with rules was used standard wooden meeples, but in game was transparent meeples.

Maybe this game will have extra meeples, maybe frozen meeples included whole 19 meeple set?

This would be nice ;-)

Appart to 10th Anniversarry edition with Festival 10 mini expansion, which was available later as mini expansion...
Appart to Japanese buildings included in Carcassonne J version, which was available later as mini expansion...
Appart to Gingerbread included in Winter Edition Engish version, which was available as mini expansion...

I think, if there will be something special, it will be than available as mini expansion (if it will be mini expansion).

Appart to Big Box 2017 included Mini 1-7 in C2, which are still not available without big box...
Appart to Wheel of Fortune Carcassonne editional, which was published long time ago, which special tiles were not availalble separatelly...
Appart to Winter River which will not be available as mini expansion, due to last Winter edition was published 2012, so for HiG is better to sell New reedition with Winter River like publish separately River as mini...

I'm not sure, if possible exclusive content in 20th Anniversary edition will be available also as mini expansion or other separated product.

Anyway, if there will be Festival 20 with same titles as Festival 15 only with changed logo, it's not enough. Festival 15 is anyway still available on cundco.de and bgg and other eshops selling mini expansions.

Wooden meeples, currently nothing special, except "brown colored" rules and new box.

We will see ;-)

Nice. I have extendable table which can be enlarged from sides. So sometimes during game we enlarge table in requested direction.
When playing, plaing on tablecloth, and when need one/two position for tiles on sides, just move tablecloth with all tiles on it.

Yep, option C is the right one. Please check the example for the exception here (Example 3).

https://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/Hills_%26_Sheep#1._Placing_a_tile

You can see that you expand your flock first and then your shepherd is scored right away.

I gave Farin a heads-up on Slack just in case.

Please I'm checking Example 3 on WiCa
Example 3: You place a tile and grow your flock. Since you have completely closed the field with your shepherd with this tile, you immediately guide the flock to the stable and score 7 points.

So steps:
1. Placed tile which enlarge and close fields with shepherd of current player.
2. What happends here?
a) Player choose to : Grow the flock - and taken is not wolf
by example 3 sheeps are guided to the stable => means automatically get's points
b) Player choose to : Guide the flock to the stable (no question here)

another situation

1. Placed tile which enlarge and close fields without shepherd of current player.
2. What happends here?
Are the flock automaticly guided to players with shephers on currently closed field?

As I wrote on github. Rule for grow flocks from closed field is directive, not optional.
So I read it.

When somebody closes field with at least one shepherd, shephers on this field are automatic scoring and this step part is not counted to current player step.

Official Rules / Re: Castle scoring with mayors
« on: January 12, 2021, 01:41:57 AM »
I like it.
I have two suggestions:

1. Question / Answer section:
I knows history of this, but reader which doesn't know, that you are sending questions to HiG and received answer for rules clarification can be confused.

Maybe it will be good to name is as it is.

Rules Clarification: Is bla blabla? (in darker header)
Yes bla bla bla (in ligher body)

2. Combination with other expansions:
Why not to add expansions selector to all rules pages and shows only those rules which expansions are selected?
This change will be helpfull for beginners which have for example only basic game and one/or few exapnsions, but also for experts with most of expansions.

PS: How long is set cookie timelife for expansions selection now? (PS: Good to store all previous code, git is my everyday tool, and Eclipse with local history of changes (but it stores only one max two days changes) ;-)

Question #15: The Yellow Messenger landed on a dark space. As a result, Yellow receives the message shown by
The Grinch. How many points does Yellow score for this message when applied to this feature?

Answer #15: after receiving this message, Yellow will have to score the city as if after the game and remove the meeple.

Yellow will the score 5 points for the city:
- The city itself is worth 0 points ( 5 tiles x 0 points for the cathedral)
- The Mage bonus is 5 points ( 5 tiles x 1 point per tile for the mage )

Yellow will also receive 3 points for the fairy next to their meeple.

Notes:
* The German castle bonus is not applicable during final scoring.
* The Mage bonus is applied during the game and after the game for incomplete features, even if the incomplete feature scores 0 points due to an inn or a cathedral, like in this case. The Mage bonus is applied after the inn or cathedral.

Bottomline:
- Yellow scores 8 points in two scoring events (5 points for the city with the mage + 3 points for the fairy)

Final note: Yellow could also renounce to score any points for the feature and receive 2 points for the message instead. However this case is not the answer expected for this question.

The mage remains on the tile?
Yop ;-)
