I would assume the fairy remains on the tile upon which she/it is placed. Stopping the Dragon from crossing that tile.  Seems unfair to allow the fairy to protect both tiles that the castle straddles.

Can the Dragon remove the meeple by going on the other tile that the castle straddles?

Does the player receive a point from the fairy upon his/her next turn if the fairy has remained in-situ?

As per the C1 rules, the wagon should be placed on the "road to Kiev" (Solovei's road) before being able to reach the city when the road network is completed.

But that can never happen: as soon as the wagon touches the road with the Solovei Razboynik tile, it will be trapped. In the pictures you are skipping the road altogether and reaching for the city in one step when there are two steps...

Of course! Sorry, I totaly forgot that you can only drive to the nearest adjacent feature. Thanks for the answer anyway!


It seems like nobody can pass the road to Kiev, Solovei's whistles are just too powerful!  ;D

Earplugs would appear to be needed.

I have acquired the original art Inns and Cathedrals expansion, in which the 18 tiles do not have the meeple watermark on them.

Also included are the rules, box, 8 grey meeples, and 6 mega meeples and the 50/100 tokens.

I like the level of risk reward in the new rules. I would not expect compensation. Perhaps next tile I remove the opponent. Karma!

The displaced meeple that is returned does not give his player any points compensation, same as a removed meeple in Princess and the Dragon. These rules are workable and a definite improvement on the original rules.
