I have today picked up a pristine condition of the original art base game, including the river, with the 50 point score board.  Made by Rio Grande Games.

Please PM me if you would like to replace your own worn out base game.

It hurts... wait.. RGG.... it's ok  ;D (just kidding  :P )
HiG is sacred (joking)

Unofficial Rules / Re: La Porxada question
« on: April 16, 2019, 03:40:36 AM »
A friend who was in the National Carcassonne tournament in Spain in 2010 has "la porxada" and was able to know the rules in his day, and he knows Oriol Comas (the creator of the expansion and a well-known game designer here in Spain and who works with Devir very often) asked him to clarify the most frequent doubts. I passed an extract from the conversation that came to me:

‘I answer here, in case anyone has the same doubt with the second use of Porxada (which is very reasonable to have this doubt). There must be a way to mark who has participated in the closing of ‘la porxada’ (with wooden cubes, with paper balls or even, as some people have done, making 5 photocopies of ‘La porxada’ tile and plasticizing- as a token mark to be distributed among those who have closed the city of La Porxada).

However, there is a second level doubt that interpreting the rules by line is solved: at the end of the game, cities that aren’t closed as closed have the players that have:

A.- Closed and rated the city of La Porxada?
B.- What has closed the city of La Porxada (although I don’t rate it)?
C.- Those who have had meeples in the city of La Porxada (although they didn’t score it in the end to remain in a minority of meeples)?

The answer is C.

So everyone who adds to the "party" of ‘La Porxada’ can pick up extra points at the end of the game.

I have answered the question ????’

I hope this serves to clarify those things that were confusingly written from my point of view and that of many people.

I think mine were the New Russians. The seller was looking for a copy of the Besiegers (unpunched) so I bought that via Ebay (for around 65 euro), opened it to check it and then reshipped it to the seller of the two Russians + another 40 euro to complete the deal.

Come to think of it, ridiculous amount of money but wanted the Russians at all cost.

The edition with the 70p scoreboard is a close second.

WoW! Nice!! Often happens. Sometimes astronomical amounts are paid for something that is not worth it because as you say you want to have it at all costs. I understand you.

It's a kind of paper with a thin layer of rough plastic that gives it resistance, really. But in any case I wouldn't double it because it would be damaged. In the same tube they send you up to 5 ... I already said that I offer myself without problem (it would be from Spain).

I'm not convinced they'll fold very well.  They're not paper, but a kinda plastic sheet.
Yes it's a thin plástic in a cardboard box.

Müller is an exception because the besigers inside was the difference.

Hmm. The difference from what the Besiegers from Muller Ed. was? As I remember Besiegers from Muller Ed  = Besiegers issued by HiG later.
Yes. But the original was in Müller Box. After HiG sold it apart. But anyway it's the same yes but different than siege of RGG

I'd rather say they are both original - from Muller Box and from HiG. It is one mini expansion - Besiegers.
RGG published another mini expansion - Siege as a part of Cult, Siege and Creativity bundle.

Of course :)

Regarding people from Spain (@Meepledrone, @DrMeeple, @whaleyland?), have you already acquired the Deutsch map?

I was about to buy it, but the shipping is a bit expensive and seems to be less expensive if 3/5 copies (10.64€/9.78€ each) are bought. If you still haven't bought it, are you thinking on buying it together?

Yes, my carcassonne map just arrive the past week. Sorry.... :(

Those are recognised by HiG, and have been printed as official tiles.
Not stickers.

But if we are to have la Porxada on the list, I will campaign to have the British Moustaches on the list to! Recognised by Carcassonne Central, and signed by Klaus  :o

Doesn't matter, really. lol Okay HiG didn't edit it, no matter how much he recognized it verbally (the same thing Devir did with the porxada). It's a loop that doesn't make sense. I see that one defends and another doesn't and I don't care haha I just wanted to know why russian is in the profile and not the porxada and I see that it is something subjective like most things in this life... Like for example include them in the 'anotated rules'... Wait ... It wasn't an unofficial expansion like the mustache? Interesting... But it would open another loop and I don't feel like more time loops hahaha

Translators are great, but this is still an English speaking forum, and to help everyone in understanding the conversation, it is preferred to keep it that way.
In private messages any language can be used of course, but the (public) forum is English spoken

Nope, someone else and took it to the event.
See the BGG entrance and if you are interested send email to Devir and you will know. :)

It’s not a mystery. We do know and it has been confirmed. Several times in fact. It has never been officially printed. It has only ever been a sticker. Perhaps Devir considers it legitimate but no other Carcassonne distributor does. Klaus Jürgen-Wrede is allowed to sign whatever he wants—it doesn’t make it official.
The same argue with Hobbyworld and russian promo then. :)
