De quel bonhomme de neige parlez-vous ?

What snowman are you referring to?

Salut oldbonz!

* Édition d'hiver - Der Scheemann :

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=237

* Télécharger l'édition d'hiver - Der Schneemann :

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=2264

* Télécharger l'édition d'hiver - Die Brunnen von Carcassonne

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=3152

* Die Brunnen von Carcassonne

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69

Hi oldbonz!

The CarcF "Der Scheemann" ("The Snowman") fan-expansions are adaptations of CarcF "Die Brunnen von Carcassonne" ("The wells of Carcassonne") for the Winter Edition and the Download Winter Edition.

* Winter Edition - Der Scheemann:

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=237

* Download Winter Edition - Der Schneemann:

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=2264

Additionally, there is a third adaptation for the Download Winter Edition that uses wells instead of snowmen.

* Download Winter Edition - Die Brunnen von Carcassonne

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=183&t=3152

You'll find the tiles but not the rules in the previous links.

Here is the original fan-expansion with the rules in German:

* Die Brunnen von Carcassonne

https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69

Here is an excerpt of the rules in English adapted to "snowmen" just in case:

---
Contents

4 city land tiles with snowmen:

Preparation

The four new cards are shuffled with the other cards from the basic game. This expansion can be combined with all large and small expansions.

Game rules

1. Placing a tile

If a player draws a card with a snowman during the current game, it is created according to the known rules.

2. Placing a follower

If a card with a snowman is drawn, a follower can be used according to the usual rules. No follower may be placed on the snowman itself.

3. Scoring

As soon as a city is finished, it is evaluated according to the usual rules. The players with the majority in the completed city receive 1 additional point for each snowman in the city.

If a player completes a city with at least two snowmen without having the majority in that city, he will also receive points for that city with several snowmen. Except for one snowman, the points of the snowmen are then scored for both players.

If a city contains one or more shields in addition to a snowman, each snowman is scored with 2 additional points, i.e. with 3 points.

At the end of the game, all cities with snowmen are scored according to the usual rules. For each snowman in a city, the player with the majority in the city receives 1 additional point.
---

The rules contain several examples but the first one contains en error when adding all the points. It's easy to detect.

If you need additional info, just let me know.  ;D

I think that a snowman appears on various Download Edition tiles as part of the illustration, rather than as a scoring feature. You can also find a sledge, St Bernard dog, skis, Santa and his sleigh ... possibly more.
AutumnForest (C2), Catch Of The Day (C1/2/WD), Cliffs&W'falls (C1/2), Coast (C1/2), FishHuts (C2), Fluvium (C2), NewForest (C2), Harvest (C1/2), Stone Circles (C1/2), Wells (C2), Jordan River 2 (AotC), River I/II (GR)
Devt: Sakura (C2), WinterEdge (C1), WinterCoast (WD/WE) and others

Hello Volnic
indeed the snowman appears on several WINTER EDITION tiles, however an edition entitled der schneeman composed of 4 tiles does exist and Meepledrone's indications concerning an evaluation according to a count indicated in his message are precise
thank you
