Just finished my podcast interview regarding the world record game of Carcassonne held this year.

Hopefully it will be up sometime next month.
And yes, I am going to work on finishing the diary etc too.

Thanks so much for the greeting. It is appreciated. I spent the day mostly in bed struggling through a gallbladder attack. It was a lot of fun...

But hey, I'm not complaining. Pain lets us know we're alive, right?

My wife pre-ordered the new game Roll Player for me, which I've been very excited to get. However, the first print run was small enough that many of the distributors oversold it. Now I have to wait for the second run which is due out in February or March. It is good to break habit of instant gratification, I suppose, even if by force.

If you enjoy role playing and you have not seen Roll Player, I suggest you check it out.

I'm not sure about Dungeon Strike but much prefer Dragon Strike!

The board game is very good for the day ... however the video is NOT a motivation to actually play the game!
