Title: Buying Meeples
Post by: jungleboy on October 28, 2015, 07:25:48 AM
Hi all,

I would like some extra meeples to use at school when playing games with my language students. Essentially, I would like one standard meeple in about 12-15 different colours. Perhaps this is a strange order because I assume most people want sets of meeples in one colour rather than only one for each colour.

Anyway, can those with experience in buying meeples let me know what the best option would be for what I want? Cundco? Meeple Source? Something else?

Cheers!

Ted from Carcassonne Shoppe sorted me out recently.  I can forward you his email if you've lost it.

There are places like www.boardgameextras.co.uk/ in the UK too.

I've always bought from meeplesource in the past when I've needed/ wanted meeples, but like you say, those have been in sets of 8 (plus one set of 300 ;)). I imagine the shipping might make a relatively small order prohibitively expensive but I haven't seen any of the coloured meeples I posted pictures of recently available anywhere else yet.

I always use spielmaterial. They are really good.

Seen this? Meeplesource has standard meeple sample pack: 21 regular meeples, each in a different colour.

Sorry for the late reply.
http://www.spielematerial.de is also really good. Never ordered via their website but I always visit their booth in Essen and they have great stuff.
